EC Final was played at CPC2 or 3 and was a hit, so bartichello asked cb chiefs to do it again and they gave us the go, afaik bartichello talked to tosspot too.

we had already asked tosspot some months ago, but as you all know it took him quite some time to establish a date for the lan. :(

but i don't know if it will happen or not, but bartichello said they had agreed smth :/

maybe ff-xfi won't make it till the finals afterall, vae look strong

if the teams are attending lan, then theres no problem with that, BUT if the teams arent, theres no use of forcing them there as they wouldnt go.

Wtf are you talking about ? Every polish player has to pay about 1000zl (which equals to 2months savings, when you have a JOB) to get to cc5. Don't forget that they are young people. They have to travel thru the the half of Europe only to PLAY COMPUTER GAME. Yes it's simple, everyone wants/has to be there, rofl get life man.

YOU WANT TO SEE THEM, PAY FOR THEIR TRIP.
SIMPLE.

As if they have been sponsored for every LAN.

Point is they can make it from Estonia so I don't see why Polaks wouldn't be able to make it if they wanted to. Airplane tickets are like 150-200 € max, entry fee is 50 € and drinking + eating 4 days is 100 €.

Are you really going to tell me that 350 € is 2 months of work in Poland?

No, it's 1 month when you don't have to pay for studies, bills, food ... (and as I said, most of them don't have a job). Ye, it's easy to say: mommy please give me 350euros, I want to play some pc game in The Netherlands. Are you trying to tell me that CC5 is almost FREE ? Euro ET LAN isn't a lifetime goal for every of us. I wouldn't spend even 35 euros for such a shitty thing.

I disagree, people online play with their own mouse, mouse pad, computer, config, screen, headset, environment, desk, chair and you can go on and on, so i think it's quite reasonable to play the EC final online :) of course the hacker issues still remain then..
