Well intra USA flights are much more expensive then intra EU flights. And actually mostly u can find flights for less then 100 € even to turkey or something. 100/200 € is already the more expensive flight carriers like Air France but u can get much cheaper then that. U won't see that in the USA.

I was merely saying that they arent as cheap as a taxitrip. If u get lucky and u if u book waaaay on time u might get a flight for 100euros, otherwise u will have to pay in between 150-300 (and that is with the cheaper flight companies). Which IMO isnt that cheap and certainly not as cheap as a taxi ride. I dont care how expensive plain tickets are elsewhere, if u think that paying 200-300 euros is extremly cheap than u either work already or u are a fairly rich student.

That really is bullshit man. U can easily find flight tickets of 100 euro or less to anywhere in Europe and no u don't have to be lucky and no u don't have to book infront a long time. So yes he is right because a taxi ride to a next village can be easily 50/100 euro and nowadays flight tickets in the EU are also around 100 euro or less if u take flight carriers like jetair, ryanair and all those other cheap ones.
200/300 euro are the expensive ones but 100 euro or less are also widespread and easily to find.

What the deuce? With taxes included? I always end up paying between 150 and 300 euros no matter where the flight is going to. Only when i order my tickets way early, it might cost less. And im talking about ryan air here :/

yup, our flights (Tampere - Bremen - Tampere) with ryanair were 60 euros in total including all the taxes and other costs (1 bag + airport check-in)

without the bag and airport check-in it would've been just 30 euros :p
