yeah i was thinking that because like the only people who care about cs here are swine and nemesis lol, and its obvious that more that 2 people want to know about quakecon ^
The difference is that people still cared in 06, teams scrimmed and more than one team had a chance of winning 1st, it's very one-sided now and the only team that scrimmed was NETZ, which was basically a bunch of nonamers and/or 'former' cheaters who disbanded because they couldn't beat mix teams
Actually a number of teams came back to play Quakecon and some of them stuck around afterwards to play. A few of the NR and Amish guys were still playing in TWL 10, most of them had dropped it again by then though, and they all left when TWL died obviously
