I'm playing 'Scarface: The World Is Yours' again - lovely game. Was a bit dissappointed of Stalker: CS, through my PC is maybe a bit too slow. Even Red Alert 3 couldn't live up to my expectations. Looking forward to Gran Turismo 5, damn I fucking love it <3, but gotta get myself a PS3 + LCD first. :)
best: RTCW, Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, HoMM3 (better than anything that came out this year :-D), from 2008 games probably Fallout 3

didnt play that many but GTA4 was pretty disappointing. basically its a stripped down GTA:SA with better character physics. lots of those extra tiny things are gone. also the performance is terrible, some of the guys on missions are immortal at certain parts, niko's serbian is laughable, missions lack the diversity of SA and VC, fighting is done nicely, until you get attacked by two guys at once, and the list of shit things goes on.
but still GTA is great and hes a moron so no need for an edit.
