Best headset for gaming?

Well, i was thinking which headset will give me best ability to hear enemy for long range or exactly where he/she is?

I was at AnonymousGigantti and i noticed some steelseries headsets and started thinking are they worth of buying since i have fatality and it have pretty good sounds.

So tell me best headsets and say your opinion about steelseries headsets + some under 110€ headsets.

Yup, visited there (website and in the shop) some times and it seems there is a nice headsets
By the way you recommend buying 5.1 or 7.1 or whateva:O?

Sounds great!

5.1 headsets are crap. They do sound different but not that good imo.

i got it somewhere in my closet, my mom bought it cos i needed a new one! saw it and went to another store and bought the icemat!

What actually that means? In game does it give more advantage to have high hz, like hearing the steps far away or?

Yea with a good hearing and this headset you might be able to hear thinks, others cant here, but it does not make you looking throu walls ;)

trotzdem generieren computerspiele keine geräusche, die außerhalb des für normale pc lautsprecher liegenden frequenzbereiche reichen.

beyerdynamic is extrem expensive but has nearly the best quality, it is more for music studio's etc.

you can buy a headset for 20euro or for 70euro the quality of the sound will be different but the 20euro headset has a quality which is good enough for a old game like ET.
