Euros look down on our beer, but there's a lot more out there than Budweiser (although the German Budweiser that has no relation to the giant American brewery) that comes from America. I've had over 190 different beers, from Japan, Egypt, Australia, New Zealand, US, Mexico, Canada, and almost every country in Europe, and my favorite is still American:

The Boston Brewing Company that brews Sam Adams is an independently owned brewery, not owned by InBev like Anhueser-Busch who brews Budweiser. Believe me, Budweiser's "American Lager" has not changed since the takeover, still brewed here in the USA. There's a good documentary about the American beer industry called "Beer Wars," if you like beer I recommend it.
