Zakopane (polish people help)

Hello crossfire.nu!

Im from Finland. Me and my friends are thinking of going to zakopane skiing at the new years. We have other option to go to the Alp, but it costs more. So we are trying to look good and bad things in both places. We are all 20-25 years old and we are just looking for some fun.. basicly. So question to polish people.. is zakopane any fun... what about prices and nightlife? Is there snow in new year and do young polish people go there to have fun?

but poland is way cheaper but dnno if it is thaaaat good

actually poles who can afford alps don't want to go to zakopane - if you really need something cheaper think about slovakia, but I dunno if it's so 'cheaper' choice now :P

dont know so much about prices but imo one night in a hotel or hostel its about 50 polish zloty (one person)

go to Bialka Tatrzanska, it's better and cheaper there, while still fun
