Was r_picmip 3 allowed back in 2006? I cant remember some1 help meemememe
I think it was but not sure...

I haz an ET playing m8 who's got a pbban from september and december 2006 for r_picmip 3 which prevented him from playing a 3o3 earlier today on a pb secured server (first time that happend ever btw). So the ban must have been issued because of specific server reductions regarding picmip then?

:D I absolutely forgot how it was back then as i just got my cfg's of others :)))) All i remember is that timenudge tweaking was allowed (hi2u tekoa timenudge -13). :D
But how would it be possible for some1 to have a pbban from 2006 for r_picmip 3 then? Causing him to be banned on a war server now? :S

Well punkbuster doesnt ban for silly cvars like that, must be something else going on :S

Yeah. i've been kicked plenty of times by punkbuster for a cvar over the server bracket, and never got banned by pb for it haha has to be something else

yeah used to get kicked for loads of cvars and shit, but this does show on pbbans as a ban. And it's the first time in the 3 years i'm playing with the guy he couldn't get on a server cuz he was pbbanned on it (could always connect to other pb streaming servers etc.)
It might be that the war server we played on has some roflfail pb banlist streaming settings or something dunno :SS:S
