Dunno everybody is tellin always that with 1000hertz and 1600dpi you got unstable trackin etc... What's your opinion about this ?

450 dpi pls :D
The only correct answer is: Whatever floats your boat! =p
1800dpi 500hz 10acc
450dpi 500hz
you can try with mouserate or similar if it keeps stable 1000Hz, anyway it needs a lot from your PC to run it with 1000Hz, so I rather use 500Hz myself. About dpi, it's like the lower the better
that is so not true .. the higher dpi the better :)

i use 500 hz 1800 dpi with no driver and it feels great
Parent
and give me even one reason why higher dpi would be better :D ?
Parent
Higher DPI feels more natural as it reflects the movements your hand is performing more precise. Isn't necessary good for tracking though (actually it is not) : p
Parent
well ye it feels more natural more precise but that's good for tracking .. dunno why ur saying otherwise :)
Parent
Because the human makes mistakes, so do his hands. Tracking is more stable and better with a lower DPI due to the mouse not being that much affected by the human himself making slight mistakes.
Parent
well i dont do mistakes so .. :DDD ok now seriously maybe we fail sometimes but with lots of practice u will see the benefits of a higher dpi setting ( especially smoothness .. u feel like u have full control out of ur mouse ) :P
Parent
The human always makes mistakes, even after a lot of practice.
Parent
Not right as well, the DPI should be reasonable low for games running powered by the Quake 3 engine, but not too low nor too high. Basically everything between 400 DPI and 800 DPI is fine. The higher the DPI the bigger the positive acceleration. I'm using 800 DPI myself as it just feels best, although I was used to 2000 DPI.
Parent
Actually it's negative accel high dpi might cause :p I'm using 3500 dpi with DA and I dont have acceleration at all tho.
Parent
You're right with the negative acceleration part, but I bet you have a lot of acceleration, you just don't notice that much...
Parent
That's what I thought at first, but after I've tested it a dozen times still no sign of even a bit of acceleration.
Parent
there is a progam for that accel (accelfix)
Parent
That little very handy program is only fixing acceleration in Windows, but doesn't affect the moue build in acceleration. You're a high skilled player which I've already been spectating on ETTV, but your knowledge about this is laughable if you don't even know that there are two types of devices (the operating system and your mouse) which can cause acceleration : )

1800dpi and 500hz ftw :)
450dpi 1000hz
OR
Full dpi 1000hz + rinput
I don't know if it variates between different Deathadder mice, whether they have the ability to keep 1000 Hz stable or not, but if yours is able to do that, then you could at least try using it. 1000 Hz feels more aggressive and a bit more reactive than 500 Hz, although the con of it is, that it uses your CPU more extensively.

The choice is always yours, play with what feels comfortable to you.
900dpi / 500hz / windows sens 6 / 2.8 in game / Default DA sens
