nkNn at LAN! (pics!)

Yo guys,

just wanted to give you all some information on how our LAN went and supply you with some pictures since I haven't seen anyone of us in the CiC gallery so far and we don't want to deny you our hotness :-P

We, angelDust nkNn, had to play Dignitas, iR, WCTNdsaagidgsoda and Validus in Group A.

We started out versus WCTNdsadagasdaa and it was a pretty easy win, as we all expected. Next up was Validus, which went ok as well, eventhough they had a decent defense :-P

Then it was time for the most important match of our group, the one versus iR. We knew that the winner of this match would go to upper playoffs and since that was our goal, the victory had to be ours! We played very well at the first map but sucked complete donkeyballs on radar. The decider was Braundorf which we managed to win but it wasn't a walkover in any way. Credits to the Czechs.

The match vs Dignitas took HOURS TO START and we didn't even get raped that hard. I made a nice 3 man riflenade kill and it was a pretty nice match, good warmup for them winners.


nkNn goes shopping

Unfortunately for us YoYoTech was our opponent in the first round of the main playoffs but we still decided to give it all and give them a challenge :-P We had some problems setting up (crook's screencolours were weird, my keyboard language was wrong, etc.) but in the end we managed to start with only an hour of delay or something (:'D). We started out pretty well but then we just crumbled and got raged like a team full of witjes and couldn't really give YYT a decent challenge.

This meant we had to go to the loser bracket where we had to play nOu way! Another tough opponent, so we knew it was gonna be hard to stay in the tournament. We played pretty well and managed to win supply, and the decider (radar) ended up being pretty friggin' close, so we were kinda dissappointed to lose it after all :[

All in all, we had a great time, we did everything we wanted to (end 2nd and take at least a map in playoffs) but with a little bit more luck with the brackets we could have won another game we think.
