Ever wondered how it is like to play with the most achieving team in ET history? Now you can find out yourself with 
Blight's next community contribution! One of the fans will be able to play within their ranks alongside of 
Night, RELOAd, 
feruS and company during one of their practise matches in the coming weeks. You'll be talking to them on ventrilo, following their tactics and hopefully experiencing the rush of bashing some of the world's best teams.What do you have to do to win this? Simply show your motivation why you should be picked. There are a lot of possibilities here, so make sure you're original. You could for example bring back memories of the good old times where you remember the Blight players from proving you're an all-time fan, or if you're a girl write BLIGHT GAMING across your bare chest, that would sure be motivational to me! But I'm drifting off. Blight is also looking for a new tag, so posting your idea of a great Blight tag (ingame screenshot for example with colors) will also be considered. Lots of options for all you Blight enthusiasts.
The winner will be announced on Sunday and will be the fifth of Blight during one evening in the upcoming week.

atleast with CS the 5th guy only has to shoot and follow a couple of orders to do well, in ET the game is far too complex for that.
The bit that will be noticeable if player who's never played at high level before wins is the things highskill players take for granted. Always knowing the enemy spawntime after <30s, and knowing how to play with that information, knowing when to push out and when to selfkill, &c.
It's less true than it was 3 years ago, but I always used to say the big difference between mid-skill and high-skill teams is that the former play strats based on their own spawntime, whereas the latter play strats based on their opponents spawntime.

Another thing that should be interesting is to see how the ingame leader responds to some unexpected things during the game and how the teams tacticcs are adapted to the players and opponents :>

I would love the opportunity to play with blight because I've always wondered what highskilled ET is like. Specifically I'd like to "hang" with the team and see what the idle guys are like on vent! I've heard it's a riot, infact at times, they are losing games because they are only laughing on ventrilo hahahaha! It's pretty cool because at lower levels of ET if you laugh, you lose.
I also thought up the following tag, which I think would be super!

I am oldschool player playing since 2004-2005 seeing u guys playing vs parodia, uQ , .. was always a game where i was looking too with some friends rly nice games. I most like feruS of blight-gaming since he made a test aim movie to help lowskilled player getting aim by training it. to help them finding good sensitivity ... . So ye i just wanna get a chance to play with u guys seeing how its going on. Seeing how it is to play with this team. Wanna hear RELOAD sexy voice again. I already told that I really like to watch the matches of blight/mamut/dignitas/idle.My replaylist is full of it. Not only the games that are played nowadays but also the games that have been played months, or even years ago are really interested to watch. In my case it's not really to become better, because I simply won't :P But since I started playing this game I always enjoyed watching highskilled known teams..And from that point I moved further. I asked a lot of questions on IRC to know what their opinion is about a certain position in a map or some other piece of tax. Also tried a lot, and i mean really a lot of configs of known players. Especially the configs of this team's players. Just because the simple fact that I like to see how they are playing and compare that to my settings. (fov, crosshair and that kinda things)
Well, that is history now, I picked my own config :P But I still like to watch the games of this guys and it would be nice to know how comms are given in a team on that level, how tax are being followed and that kinda things. And then in this case, even following their tactics my self! Just for the experience :) Between all my questions about their playstyle I even asked for the server ip to watch pracs now and then. So you would even find me there watching blight playing a simple prac. Simply because I like to see how they play, what kind of tax they use, the smart trics they have etc..
Simply said, it would be a really nice experience to play with them and listen to their comms. Also to compare it with the way how I played it over the last years and conclude what I could've done better in some ways. Just one time :)
And the old idle tag is still my favorite. Nothing to do about it :P

i think i should play as i am by far one the most stupidest et gamer ever i have no tactics, i just generally fail all the time but i don't take it seriously at all as i always play for fun, it would be very nice to win for once as well :D And it would be nice to play with a team that doesn't whine at me 24/7 xD actually the truth is as i suck so badly i will never get the chance to play with people on your level so it would be nice to experience it for once

I am sHaKy a very big fan of you guys. Why i want to play with you people is cuz, i like the way that Night's plays keeps pushing and pushing and RELOAd's aim is amazing and feruS yeah we all know about feruS.

Hello im from a small town in Iceland, I have red hair and i spend most of time in my PC trying to be good like u guys :P when im not in the PC i sometimes go out and scream because im mad because i dont have any friends. My internet got offline for one week and i was watching record of u guys and trying to use the tactics u use with my clan and i tried to play just like night but i was always dieing ;[. Btw All of my family died at the winter olympics 2010 and yesterday my bnc died this was hard to overcome i cried myself to sleep.
But then i saw this news flash and i was back to life, plz guys i am little kid with a dream, dream to play with the best guys ever played the computer game Wolfenstein:Enemy Territory i think im very good in wolfenstein and should be able to play with guys like u, u are my idols guys, i will come to CiC7 just to get u to sign my Blight T-Shirt.I can give u ref password to my jaymod server and i will buy u a trip to Iceland and we can play together on a LAN :P anyway i will get very sad and maybe end my life if u wont pick me, because its my dream + i made a special blight song that we can all sing together in warmup before big games :P to get the right spirit in the team.

Im Astro from the south of Germany and since I saw your teamplay and your sake to win the cc6, im a real fan of blight. Also because im not that good ET Player, it would be cool to see me with you in one ventrilo channel (w00t w00t). I think, I could really improve my style to play and my skills, if I can prac with the real blight team. When I can see Night destroying hole teams or drago saving the day on frostbite again with a epic panzerfaust, all my dreams were fulfilled. I will come again to cic7 and we'll see if you can win this years best LAN again. I think and hope so :)
