Welcome to the ClanBase Enemy Territory NationsCup XIV.
The NationsCup intends on bringing all of the best players across the world together to represent their nations at one Cup.
With an amazing EuroCup and OpenCup season behind us we are happy to announce the new season, which will undoubtedly be the most thrilling and action packed NationsCup to date.
Captain Application
As team captain you'll be in charge of leading your team to victory and acting as a link between your team and the ClanBase crew. The team captain is expected to be mature, responsible, capable of organizing his team, and have a decent skill level.
Step 1: Candidate Captains Apply
If you think you meet all the criteria you can apply using the link 'Apply as Captain' on the right hand side of your screen (CB Page).
You will have to explain why you think you are the best person for the job. Once you have applied, you cannot apply again.
Your nationality is the one you chose in your personal settings.
All players will be able to view the applications. The deadline for Captain applications is December 31st.
Step 2: Players Vote
Once the voting stage has started nobody else will be allowed to apply. When you vote for your captain you will be asked why you voted him/her. Once you have voted you cannot vote again or change your vote in this cup. Candidate Captains cannot vote for themselves. Read more here
All votes will be kept anonymous. This stage will run from December 31st to January 7th.
Step 3: Voting Phase Ended
During this stage the Cup Supervisor will announce the captains in a news post. This is usually done a couple of days after Step 2 has ended.

Supervisors
The Supervisor for this season will be yours truly:

Every season we ask for dedicated admins to help out the supervisors with uploading screenshots and making matchreports. This season is no different so here we go, we are looking for people who can:
- Speak and have decent written English.
- Write interesting matchreports, interviews and/or predictions.
- Make well thought out and impartial decisions.
Admins are an integral part of a cup's success, so if you feel like you're up for the task, don't hesitate to sign up. Of course, you can also simply sign up to upload the screenshots of your own match, so you can make the cup page a bit more interesting for all to see.

Format
NationsCup XIV will be in the 5on5 format as the ClanBase ET Crew feels it will damage the national teams participating in the tournament if the rest of the game is played in a different format. Furthermore, we are in advanced contact with a certain sponsor for the Enemy Territory NationsCup XIV, so changing the format would hinder such negotiations and reduce our chances of being able to award prizes.
The NationsCup never was, and never will be a testing ground. It is up to the community to strive for the format change by creating such testing grounds.

More than enough aim power with kamz to sneak them out of trouble if they get stuck.
I would like to see Jinosta giving it a try. Seen him quite a few times with it and he has impressed. If he can learn how to play on every map I don't see why he shouldn't be given the chance.
Would be a good team if they pracced enough.

As i said theres not alot you can do with UK players. ( no1 gets on ) I would not pick a lineup where people dont get along, ross kamz razz, crumbs, grim me
( mztik if hes avi to prac if not he would deff be backup etc ) would maybe get some games and let someone play rifle ( jin and others who are intrested, who ever performs the roll the best and gets along with the players in the lineup then he would be in, simple as that. Its not all about being good mates to be in the NC UK team, but as you know it dont work if noone gets along, I would pick the best 5 who are performing well RIGHT now. I know baggies comes across to be a pleb but hey who isnt over the inet ) anyway enough of my banter, who ever is the UK captain wheather its realize, tyyrd razz im sure they would pick the right uk team which will all get along and do well in this NC.
