Adroits ET Masters goes ahead

The payment deadline has now passed and we wanted to obtain 10 to make sure the LAN would go ahead. We're happy to confirm we've been paid by 10 teams now! With the target reached, we're opening ONE MORE WEEK for other teams to pay up (06/05/2012).

Matias is multiple LAN winner (3x 1st 2x 2nd 1x 3rd), Iron has won a LAN too (1x 1st 1x 4th 1x 7th-8th), OLBAA (1x 2nd) and I (1x 2nd 2x 4th 1x 7th-8th) have been second.. so there's some LAN experience! Jewe and Salaneuvos are both first timers though.

Held it in Summer and had 16 teams.

Merlin tried to hold an event in September when there we no exams and the LAN ended up being cancelled.

Basically, Belgians are the only ones who have the exams there (at least that's the only nationality I've seen complaining about the fact there are exams on these dates).

There's always next time :)

in Slovakia, most of the universities are holding exams at that time as well (including mine). But the amount of slovak players wanting to attend the lan is approaching 0, so no need to be concerned about it :) And those 4 days off wont kill anyone, its not like you have only 4 days to study and pass those exams.

I'd suggest you keep the next(I hope there will be another one) LAN around the middle of february: no holidays, no sun, no exams, no obligations. Don't know if that would fit every country but it would at least suit the belgians and afaik many more countries. Just a suggestion though.

We have exams there. But thats not a "general" exam date for the majority of germans. But still some have.
