CGAC ET Ban Wave #1

For the past few weeks, the other CG admins and I have been working hard to improve the impact that CGAC has on competitive Enemy Territory. We've spent hours examining the data and logs of each and every ET player on CyberGamer EU and are proud to finally share the results of our efforts.

We have come to the realization that there are players out there who are attempting to bypass CGAC by running the anticheat on one PC and running ET (and their cheats?) on a different PC. This is unacceptable and will not be tolerated for any reason.

Here are the first 9 ET players caught by the CyberGamer Anticheat:

There is sufficient evidence that each of the above players has recently attempted to bypass CGAC in one way or another. They are all now banned on CG and will remain banned for 12 months.

We've also found evidence of cheats on the accounts of Romania

Stary &

upload and have discovered that the mysterious member of Romania's NC team called "knave" is in fact Russia

mirror using a fake nickname.

Scores for all recent CG EU ET cup/ladder matches with these players involved will be changed during the next few days, and each of their teams will be removed from the Season 1 tournaments. The admins running the 3on3 WC and 6on6 NC have been notified and will undoubtedly take similar action in their own cups. We are very disappointed in Team Romania especially and hope to see them get what they deserve.

Keep an eye on the CyberGamer EU group here on Crossfire for a regularly updated ET ban list. Stay tuned for more information and updates, and remember to play clean - even if you think no one is paying attention.

Again, anyone caught running CGAC on another PC will be punished. Anyone caught sharing accounts will also be punished. And, of course, anyone caught cheating will be punished.

I have had no DC's since the release, so I have no clue what you are talking about. I have had some lag, but that is hardly making it unplayable, only if you are some glass cannon that dies in 1 hit :P

The server side notes that are being disaplayed on nearly daily basis, notifying for random DC's.
Happened to me at least twice while i was playing, just pure teleport back to original spot over and over again, got so annoyed i pretty much lost most motivation to even bother with it. Or just playing an instance thats around 15 min long, nearly at end and just get a random freeze, following with DC pop up.
