I'm proud to announce the 18th edition of the ET-Cup! This will be a special edition, short before the OC/EC signups are about to close. The upcoming cup will be a fight between the clans which aren't really sure about participating in the upcoming EuroCup yet. With this cup, the CB admins can also check the teams who signed up to the cup, if they are good enough or not.

We chose 16 teams out of the 18 signups. Because we think cdap - pi and one4one showed there skill already in previous matches and are better than most of the other signups, we chose to drop them out and let the other teams show there skill towards the final.

The ET-Cup is glad to announce that we're hosting our first edition of a 6on6 Nationscup!

After *secretperson* and me talked to alot of nation captains and players, we saw that almost all the country's are still interested in playing 6on6 - rather than 5on5. That's why we took this oppertunity and why we're starting this great cup. A list of teams who have agreed to play 6on6 can be found here, other teams decisions are there too.

At the moment, we're at the Semi-Finals of the ET-Cup, hopefully we'll see the final upcoming Sunday, so we can prepare the website for the Nationscup.

Every country, also the country's who already gave there "Yes"-word to 6on6 has to sign up by mailing [email protected], this is to avoid fake-signups on our website. Please mail me your Nation, Tag, Captain, IRC Channel and Lineup. The signups will close on Friday 10 November 24:00 CET, so choose your captain and signup! After you signed up your country, please contact me on IRC.

The rules and maplist will be made this week, we'll try to make both rules and maps with the captains together, so they can share there opinion about the maps and we have a more even cup.

The ET-Cup is also looking for staff to help organising this cup. We're searching for people who'd like to make some coverage newsposts, to do some interviews with teams and who like to admin some matches. If you're interested, feel free to either PM me on IRC or mail me at [email protected].

We do NOT want to split the community into 5on5/6on6, we only want the best for ET like it was for a long long time. If the majority choses for 5on5, we'll close the cup and go with them.

The 14th ET-Cup has jsut been ended 2 days ago and we're already able to announce the 15th edition! The 15th ET-Cup will be a 2-Days cup - 6on6, to be played tonight and tomorrow. It's kind of a short notice, but we'll try to get 16 teams in. As last Sunday, when we couldn't reach the 32 clans re aimed for, we gave some teams a default win - In case we can't get 16 teams, we'll do it again.

Because we want as much signups as possible to come before tonight 20CET, we'll have only standard maps from last season(s).

The ET-Cup #12 has finally been ended, and succesfully! Rewind are the crowned kings of the 12th ET-Cup after they walked over Team-Helix in a well played final. For the 3rd place we have violence is bad as winner of the Bronze Final match against Spreading Death.

Tonight we got a nice match for the ET-Cup #13 - The Semi Final for the cup goes between violence is bad and sYnod5-Gaming. After we saw Team-Helix winning yesterday against mine.eu, it's now time fot these 2 teams to fight for the last spot in the final.

I'm just back from my holiday in France, and SPU9 has been very busy with the 13th ET-Cup. In the newspost he made before you could see the participating teams and tonight is the night the matches will be played, of course on ettv!

After almost all matches for the 1st round have been played, we're going into the 2nd round this week. Too bad that 2 top-teams, TWK and aegrus, who had a nice chance to win this cup couldn't play the first week and dropped out of the cup. Luckely the other goods clans have won there match, clans such as t34, A+R, Defix and Gosu are still in the cup and going for gold! As first, I'd like to congratulate elite.clan as winner of the 11th ET-Cup! After there nice performance in the cup and the final they became the king of the 11th ET-Cup.

As I said in the last post about the final, there will come a new 3on3 cup now. After our kind of "big" 11th cup, we're making a small cup now.

Cup info
- 32 Teams can participate, free for all.
- Mix clans or clans which arent alive for a long time yet won't be allowed to decrease dropouts like our 11th cup.
- It's not allowed to use a merc, only players from the roster. Every player who has to be added to a clan roster can only be added on Sunday 24:00 CET, so clans can't use any mercs.
- No group phase, starting with the playoffs straight away.
- Signups open from today till Friday night.
- Matches forced to the Saturday at 21:00 CET. <- Can be rescheduled tho any other day in the matchweek!
- 4 Matchweeks, if you loose you're out - if you win you pass to the next round.

Tonight it's time for the Final of the 11th ET-Cup! With 2 great teams there'll be a nice show tonight. After elite have beaten Team infrag in the Semi-Final they came into this final, but also sYnod5 showed a great performance. s5-Gaming is more unknown than elite, they are the former sFx duaLity squad with not that known players but after there matches they showed alot of potential towards next CB season.

Both teams will fight for the honour to be the winner of our 11th ET-Cup tonight full covered by ETTV and Shoutcast!

The match for the bronze final will not be showed on ETTV because ELE are expecting a ping fuckup again during the World Cup game which will start at 21CET too.
