Tuesday: EASY MODE vs rockit.ET

image: CB_EC_XXI

The ClanBase ET Eurocup XXI stepped up to the big game last night with the first game outside the qualifying stages - and ETTV viewers were not disappointed. Finland Vicious and Evil felt the full wrath of the United Kingdom Impact Gaming side who thrashed the Finns 4-0, setting an astonishing time of 4:46 on Goldrush. Immediately after the game, Finland Vicious and Evil "called it a day". The team were one of a few to be signed to a gaming organisation and also received a direct invite to the league.

Tonight, the familar Europe EASY MODE side returns to ETTV performing for their first match on ETTV this season. They will fight against the newly formed Germany rockit.ET lineup. The Europe EASY MODE lineup consists of some of the best aimers in the game. Netherlands perfo will be making a return to the ET scene after his break from the Crossfire LAN series. In addition, two new faces will be added to the lineup; powerhouse dutch aimers Netherlands teKoa and Netherlands Aza. Alongside the three Dutch players will be the former Germany rockit.ET member United Kingdom Meez and the fatal Polish rifle Poland wiaderko. The players have proven deadly in other teams and have performed well together in the past.

Monday: Impact Gaming vs Vicious and Evil

image: CB_EC_XXI

Last night, we were entertained by the ESL Major Series VI Qualifiers. As usual, there were a few unexpected results. Tonight, it's ClanBase's turn. The qualifying stages are over and it's time to step up to the big game. Welcome to the ClanBase ET Eurocup XXI

Tonight, the old Finnish power lineup returns to the Clanbase EuroCup league, but with a dent in their confidence. In an unexpected turn of the tables, the LAN proven Belgium Belgian Fraternity were able to take a 4-2 win against Finland Vicious and Evil last night in the EMS Qualifiers. That being said, the first map was Special Delivery and Finland Vicious and Evil were able to full hold the Belgians on Radar.

EMS Sunday

It's Sunnyday - it's hot in Europe, it's the hottest day in the UK this year and you now hate Iceland because your getaway plans have been ruined. Have you made other plans? Didn't think so - here's what's going on in the ESL Major Series VI Qualifiers tonight.

The highlight match tonight will undoubtedly be amongst the Belgians and the Finish. Fighting in the Loser Bracket Semi Final, we have the legendary return of the Finish players Finland Vicious and Evil who are set to take on the LAN proven Belgium Belgian Fraternity, who performed above expectations at the Crossfire Intel Challenge 7. The familiar Finland Vicious and Evil lineup dates back a couple of years, however a few years of inativity may put the team in a difficult position against the slightly more active Belgium Belgian Fraternity. Nevertheless, the GamesTV community believes Finland Vicious and Evil will take the match without breaking a sweat. The odds are 10:1, but we all know too well that's simply nothing to go by. Make sure you tune in for a certain epic match against the two European nations.

RtCW-Cup 4 Announced

image: mainimage

Return to Castle Wolfenstein returns again in 2010 with the fourth edition of RtCW-Cup. It has been nearly 9 months since RtCW-Cup 3 with the release of 'Wolfenstein' bringing hope to rekindle a community, sadly it was not to be. Early XMAS Cup run by twister proved that people still want to play RtCW and we hope that continues over the coming months.

This edition of the cup sees the introduction of our website, www.RTCW-CUP.co.uk, as a source for your RtCW needs. It also sees the return of the 3on3 competition, based on sign ups, which we hope will improve the cups.

Aalborg - Questions?

image: tossd

Today the group from Aalborg can announce a whole new series of coverage regarding our upcoming LAN here in Denmark. Within the last couple of weeks we have received a lot of questions by some players about the LAN, city and much more. We have now decided to make a small newspost where ET gamers can ask all sort of questions and within a week or two we will publish the answers here on Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory finest and most beloved site Crossfire.nu.

So to put it in a nutshell, you would be able to send us a question by using Crossfire's comment system and then within a week or two we will answer most of your questions.

Some CF-users have stated in the earlier newspost that this LAN was fake and as written in my "Scandalnavia" article "Quite comfortably the virtual world lends itself to a disguise, a special place where people can be whoever they want to be or do whatever they like to do." This LAN however is not "fake". The whole payment system will be one of the most secure ones so far in the world for International Events. We will be using Ticketmaster Europe's system.

Remember this event has been created to offer new and talented players and teams the opportunity to meet each other after years of sweet-talking via Internet. We will be giving them a competition on a higher level where they can prove themselves and those who succeed will be awarded with amazing prizes.

So folks if you have anything on your heart regrading this LAN this is the time to ask us.

colt45 and 1 zigzag!

After recent circumstances, colt45 have had to once again make lineup changes. Sweden NuggaN said he couldn't find motivation to play ET anymore, which led to United Kingdom razz leaving to join United Kingdom Impact, so Netherlands Ati_ also decided to leave.

However, they will continue to play EC and EMS, since they already qualified. The current lineup is now:

United Kingdom kaMZ
Hungary Nonix
Hungary fobje
Germany RoXoR
Germany virtu

Sweden NuggaN

Quote by kaMZI'm happy that we've been able to build such a lineup despite most of the players leaving. Hungary fobje is back from cod4 and playing nicely already and Germany RoXoR and Germany virtu were apart of the team that raped team UK with ease aswell as picking up an impressive win vs Poland polaks, so they will both be nice additions to the team also. My main focus is on this team for EC and EMS and then to find a team for Antwerp lan. I want nothing to do with team UK and wish them gl for the rest of the nc, but will also take great pride in helping them get a top 3 spot.

colt45 is in Group A of Eurocup with Finland vae, Poland FF, United Kingdom Impact, Estonia nOu way and Europe angeldust.

EGU 2010 - Help us!

image: 1957

EGU 2010 has been announced. It is supposed to be held from the 29th until the 30th May. It is one of the few LAN events going to be played this year, although it will rely on you whether Enemy Territory will be a part of it.

This LAN is going to be played in a city called Bialystok in eastern Poland Poland.

image: mapa_polska

Obviously only Polish teams will be attending there, although foreign ones are also welcome (but we doubt any will attend), but please do the Polish community a favor and vote for our beloved game! Give the Poles the chance to prove themselves on LAN and meet each other.

Think about it this way, you are the ones constantly accusing Polish players of cheating, but you are also the ones with which help we can make seeing there offline performance possible. You can make it happen!

Here is the link where you can vote - you don't have to sign-up nor give away your e-mail address to confirm anything.
