Finally its time to relax, sit back and enjoy a quiet moment of serenity after all the EC hussle of sunday. A spectacular day, filled with expected wins over thrilling matches, we can only find 1 game on for tonight!

As you may have figured out by reading the header, it's all about TAG.et versus Fatgames. Once again, the papers provide us with the possible look out on an interesting showdown. Both teams losing their 1st match, one on a very expected way while the other went down on an unexpected way. To keep the Play Off ticket chances in their own hands both teams need to win tonight, but unfortunately, there can only be one...

The early bird discount for the Crossfire Challenge 5 is fast approaching. The deadline passes at 23:00 GMT on Wednesday 15th of October, after that date all payments will cost 10 Euro more per player. On Tuesday 14th of October I will post a list of all the teams/players that have paid and had their money received, bare in mind this list is pretty much only accurate until Thursday or so as it takes a few days for payments to clear. If you are not on the list, simply get a screenshot of your payment and send it to me and all will be well.

The EuroCup being in full swing tonight, we can see even more fantastic games for our viewing pleasure. The evening being composed of different games from all different groups (apart from Group D). All bearing the marks as decisive games within their poules, it will be bound to be an interesting evening!

Another invasion is coming up. Not on the 6th of june this time, but right at your home on 12th of october! Yes, that correct, I am talking about the face-off in Group D, that is featured Sunday night on ETTV. D for Decisive, Determination, Detonation and Domination, because that is what these games will all be about!
First off, we'll start with the Overload Dream Team versus the Muse French Frogs at 20:00 GMT. One match with two very different perspectives, the Overload side will have to play for all their worth in order to stay in the race after an unlucky result last week. Muse hasn't played a game yet, so they need to all the detonation they have in order to set a performance against the Overload side.

Following on 20.30 GMT, we have Vital Gaming versus Fear Factory. A Polish powerhouse facing the Euro Combo team. Again featuring two different perspectives, it's Vital Gaming who will be determined to continue on their winning streak from last week and also grab the score here to secure a surprising move towards the Play-Offs.
Fear Factory haven't played a match either before in this group, so this is a start for them. After being cast out last EC after a dominating run with gnajda, they now need to retry and prove their worth as the most powerfull polish team in ET as well as being clean!.

I know this is a far cry from what we originally set out to do & even though it would have been nice to raise more money for Cancer Research, we still raised money none the less. Originally we had planned to do a couple large cups for charity per year but after seeing how this one took shape, we may do several small ones instead. This inaugural Charity Cup has been a learning experience.

Our Fall Season 2008 continues with another 2on2 RifleCup. The past prove that the players enjoyed to play it and so we will keep hosting it. Every week we will host multiple cups in various formats. Usually a 6on6 on sunday and differing formats during the week.

Rules:

• Rifle grenades only, means no SMG/rifle garand/handgrenades allowed
• 2x 5Min (1map = 2 SW rounds)
• Team with less deaths wins
• Selfkills are allowed but are shown in the stats
• Teamkills are prevented due to no teamdamage

Servers

• Make sure to organise your own server
• The ESL will have a limited amount of servers available, thanks to #fayntic at this point. Without engagement!
• If a server is needed, pm an admin in #esl.et

If you are new to the ESL you can follow the Starter Guid & Team Starter Guid (only teams with 2 players are allowed due to ESL page which recognizes 2on2 teams similar to 1on1 accounts) or ask an admin in #esl.et

Pay attention to the Check In System 30min before cupstart and the Lower Bracket so you do not leave after one loss as you can still fight your way back to victory.
