Profile RAWRS - The Result!

image: profilewars There are many profile warriors on Crossfire; people who will stop at nothing to edit their way into online folklore. People who understand the importance of that one extra quote in gaining more friends, or who wish to one day, spend their time reminiscing back over blissful days of spam.

Someone like Netherlands Loekino should surely be in contention for an award which honours such slavery behind a computer screen. The man who in TosspoT's words, will spell the end for the site should he ever leave, probably has dreams over what addition could be made. And when he looks into the eyes of that girl he rather fancies, he doesn't see pupils staring back. Only image: bdot Edit Profile.

*UPDATED* TLR vs Dignitas - i32 CoD4 Finals

image: tlrvdigsd7

Tomorrow morning sees the finals of the i32 CoD4 tournament, with Europe Dignitas vs United Kingdom TLR in the finals.

Dignitas have been in fine form for this tournament, and so far havent seen a team push them to the wire. In fact they beat TLR earlier in the start of the group stages, but that doesnt mean its all over yet. TLR fought back from the losers bracket with impressive wins vs United Kingdom Team Cooler Master and United Kingdom 4Kings.

Dignitas wins Multiplay i32

Multiplay's i32 LAN is well underway, with just the final of the Enemy Territory: Quake Wars tournament remaining to be played. With only 4 teams entering the competition it took place in a double elimination format, with Europe Dignitas defeating Greece Greek Operation Forces in the Upper Bracket final on Refinery. With GROF then defeating United Kingdom {SAS} with easy to secure their place in the grand final, and a guarentee of £750 for 2nd place.
The final will see the 2 teams battling it out for £2000 & 6 Saphire graphics cards, courtesy of Activision and Sapphire, and will be shoutcast live at 19.30 CET by TosspoT and Deman, and can be accessed through either the QuadV or Multiplay website. Packard Bell have provided computers for both teams to use for the final.

Due to the double elimination format, GROF must win both Salvage and Sewer in order to take victory, whilst Dignitas only needs to win 1 map.

A slight edit for cZar

Belgian superstars see themselves under a new roof today, known only as Europe Team EDiT. The ET squad were recently seen competing against the superbly named Germany megaProGaming, but having lost 2-4 will now be pushed into the lower bracket where they will face Europe MoD. The players have been seen together in similar teams on multiple occasions, resulting in a team with much experience together, and a respectable amount of experience. Expectations of the team versus Europe MoD in their next EuroCup game are relatively high. The lineup of the team has not been subject to change despite a new MGC, and is as follows:

Belgium Timmy 'acid' Seghers
Belgium Kevin 'Kevin' Verhulst
Belgium Lieven 'lio' Melsens
Belgium Steven 'mesq' Van Acker
Belgium Dimitri 'snot' Linden
Belgium Thierry 'vila' Even
Belgium Joeri 'zeto' Bpoe
Belgium Floriaan 'ziff' Mons

The MGC itself, has also just released it's site, and is run by United Kingdom Oliver "oLi" Adams, known for his past with cZar. Currently the MGC consists only of the ET squad, and sponsors such as SteelSeries & Servlogic. It is expected to grow soon.

"oLi"]
Im very happy to see cZar joining EDiT. We have been looking to open the new site along with a new gaming squad and im very proud to make that squad these guys. Our original plan was to wait and see if ET:QW's took off the ground but with cZar so interested and some time still left on the clock of ET we decided it would be worth it.
We now hope they can prove themselves at upcoming leagues and CDC4.

"mesq"]
I'm proud to announce that Just Another ET Team, or better known as cZar, are joining up EDiT. We are very proud by joining up such a known organisation as EDiT. We hope we can live up to their goals.

Finland awaits

image: eurocup4

The nation of Finland who have proudly won the Nations Cup 3 times in ET's history on top of producing some of the games finest names turns into cival war tonight ahead of one of the most eagerly anticipated matches in this seasons Eurocup. Finland Incomplete take on Finland #stfu? in a match that could go either way. stfu? are the former junk52 lineup but left the organisation for undisclosed reasons earlier this week.

Finland stfu? 4-0 Finland Incomplete
Maps: TBA
ETTV: GamesTV.org
Shoutcast: QuadV w/ TosspoT

Both Clanbase and GamesTV put stfu as the favourites for the tie, though Incomplete will cite that they performed relatively well in their group to finish in second behind all conquering megaPro. stfu however won their group with relative ease, their performance against cZar, whilst convincing was 'incomplete' so its not beyond the underdogs to take victory tonight. I caught a word with stfu's charismatic leader, decem;

QuoteI personally hate to play against incomplete for 3 reasons, their playing style is just stupid, they are unhittable as it's fins vs fins (placebo or so) and finally due to their wallhack rifle. I'm expecting the match to be very even, most likely it requires a decider. Since most of our players actually concentrate when it's official match they are playing, I think we should be able to pull it off. 4-2 for us!

Last night Germany megaPro defeated Belgium JAET (cZar) in a truly entertaining match on Supply, Goldrush and finally Radar. Supply was an end to end battle with the Belgians nicking a victory, Goldrush was far more one sided for the Germans and Radar was its usual entertaining down to the wire self as an enjoyable finish.

Warning reaches the next level

As another day passes since the release of Enemy Territory Quake Wars, top spanish team Spain wArning! has watched the time pass, and now the time has come for the team to finalise the lineup and get themselves a new home. The team has found the home they were looking for under the name of Spain Nextlevel e-Sports. The multigaming clan has sponsors such as Packard Bell, providing both hardware and LAN support, and has recently represented as the only spanish team at the recent WCG LAN. After the unfortunate loss of top spanish ET players MaRTe & Winghaven, the team has found new replacements, bringing the lineup to the following:

Spain Fran “morbit” Roy
Spain Carlos “dr3am” Sánchez
Spain Javier “1k” García
Spain Jose María “actiono” Fernández
Spain Enrique “Zheroc” Adiego
Spain Daniel “Omood” Sañudo

Spain Omar “blOp” Ornaque (backup)
Spain Sergio “arcadia” Pulido (backup)

The team still hosts remnants of it's original ET lineup, with players such as dr3am, morbit and arcadia, but having lost 2 star players MaRTe and Winghaven to Spain exilium & Europe h2k. With a main 6 of 2 ET players, 2 NS players & 2 BF2 players, the lineup hosts a mix of backgrounds and playing styles, and one can only hope the team keeps up the skill level behind the warning name.

We are happy to be joining one of the most important organisations in Spain. Nextlevel is giving us full support; thanks to them, we will be focused on playing without having to pay attention to anything else besides the game itself.

Today, again two years later, the fans wait at least just as eagerly as before on the fourth part 'Modern Warfare', which is not longer based on historical backgrounds.
