The first North American ET Draft Cup has ended a very successful signup phase where we saw 52 players accepted, quite a few more than our goal! After players are picked, the matches will begin appearing on GamesTV, with the first two matches being played by Sunday, January 5th.

As a warm up for both players and casters alike after the Christmas and New Year break, we will be doing a one-day cup for RtCW in 3on3 format on January the 5th, hopefully bringing you the same high quality games we have seen in the past ODC's.

I am happy to announce the Crossfire ET 6on6 Christmas Cup 2013! This is a one-day cup which will take place on Sunday the 29th of December.

I am proud to present to you the North American ET Draft Cup! This cup, which is aimed at Americans, is open to anyone, regardless of their geographic location. However, all matches will take place on North American servers and at times that work best for American players. This cup differs from traditional draft cups because rather than taking place over one day, it will take place over several weeks and be double elimination!

In November, the developers of Quake Live announced that the game "will be transitioning out of a web browser and into a standalone, downloadable game by the end of this year." (source)

Crossfire Winter Cup has reached the Grand Final stage where phase, who made it all the way through the upper bracket, will come up against erAse who beat Team one.soldier in the lower bracket final last week. The game kicks off at 21:00CET and will round off what has been a smooth CF Cup season.

As explained in this journal, we've created Playoff trees on Challonge in order to keep the ClanBase ET EC/OC Fall 2013 cup season running while the website is down. Unscheduled matches have been forced, so here's an overview of a few upcoming EC/OC games!

Looking back at the first week where everything has gone pretty much as smoothly as we had hoped for, I think a big thank you is in place for the teams, the shoutcasters and my fellow admins for the efforts they have made to make this possible.

The CF Cup is coming to an end with only two games remaining. Today we have the lower bracket final between erAse and one.soldier with the winner going the Grand Final against phase. With a top 3 spot already secured teams are playing for a chance for gold!
