WC is a flawed argument, as that has always been used for naming international sports tournements, yet NC is only used by CB.

Have u ever played 5on5 in competition? Cause many ppl whine but never played it.. :)
Sorry.. There is not a huge diference between both. Is a bad argument for me.
5on5 is boring to watch imo, i don't wanna watch a qcon match any more, something's missing only the money involved in the tournament made it exciting.
But the difference for the players is even more important.
i hope that CB admins will see this poll :)

so after that you just have to accept what they did, and not to split it even more. in about 2 months there are 2 leagues 5on5 and 6on6, both different configs and different communities, there you go!

I talked to DoneX today and I said he should explain the change, if they already did it, why didn't he say so?

the game is not perfect each small change brings a lot of criticism some are correct and some are just childish and just the fact people DON`T want to change
i think 5on5 is far from perfect atm but with some config changes it will be i enjoy both 5on5 and 6on6
this is not a discussion if you like 5on5 or 6on6 it is about a discussion if some random should do a nationcup
would you play if i made a nationcup with some other (admins) and make it 6on6 just cause i know i will win some souls ?

1 less player ...teams should decide who to lineup (so probably better lineups)

be open for changes some are easy to take other are harder and take more time to get used to
don`t be harsh and get open for new ideas if the community reacted like this when the game went from 7on7 to 6on6 we euros would probably be the same skill as ausies or yanks ^^
let`s explain it step by step then
1st i don`t prefer 5on5 over 6on6 either way it wont stop me from playing et
2nd i do love the decision of making this game more exciting and more skilled
3rd nationcup is a cup that should be organised by cb
4th some people are too stupid to understand some changes, so forcing those changes might be the best and easiest way to do it
5th it is just common sence that people dislike changes especially when they have been used to those thing that are being changed
those people should wake up and stop living in the past and consider that some changes are actually good for a game.
but few lines higher you wrote that you love 5on5, so /me rly not understand
second, who said 5on5 is more skilled? ofc you can have your opinion and we all allow you to have your opinion. but you=(27% minus those who respect CB only for their name and history and their help to ET) are not us=(62% - over two times) all votes show that, no matter if there was 50 voters, 300 voters, 1000 voters or 1800 voters, the 62-28 was set from very start of this vote and kept at this line for all the time and will hopefully keep to the end.
What is I dont like in Clanbase's behaviour is that they used their NAME (their position, history, their help in making ET great etc) and now many people defend them just because its Clanbase, who made that decision. If ESL said '5on5 in the future' there would be nobody to defend them, and everyone would stick to 6on6. But it was CB! Oh they are gods. Of course Clanbase has experience in making NC and only they should make NC (and all this situation with doubled NC is very very bad) but good that ET-Cup made NC 6on6, because its 6on6. ET-Cup is nothing and if they made NC 5on5 and CB made NC 6on6, there would be noone to participate in 5on5 NC.

i am not that active anymore so i would probably lose my spot if we would play a 5on5
5on5 is more skilled cause teams lineup their best players (best mix)
especially when you got teams containing of 8 players who can play that day
so probably those teams would lineup their best team atm so that really makes ET a bit more skilled and a bit more fun to watch
IF esl came up with the idea of 5on5 and would force it i would respect them for doing it and i would support them making cups
BUT i would not support them if they sundenly came up with a new NATIONCUP cause we aint talking about the fact that 5on5 or 6on6 are good choices we are talking about the fact another cup want to (steal) organise the nationcup.
removing 1 player will force people to work harder on their skill to make sure they have that spot in the line up
just to let you know: i don't support any side. i don't care much about if it's 6on6 or 5on5 because I don't play competitively anymore.
this means that YOU dont like the game as it is either and YOU quit playing the game competitively (as you said).

And there are people who get bored of something after some time. Some people get bored by game in 2 years, some 4 years, some in 3 months, and its not about the game is wrong, but they want to play something other. And some of them come back in some time because they lost their boredom, or something hapend that they want to play ET for some time till they get bored again.
i don't play anymore because i don't want to invest as much time as it needs to. i never said that i dislike the game but nevertheless a game is not worth the effort you have to put in. i still play some mixes from time to time because i still think that it's the best game around!
so why do people get bored by a game? because it's always the same. so why not change some things in order to prevent that people are getting bored?
nearly every change (be it the removal of the XP system or anything else) had his own dispute and at the end nearly every change improved the competitive gaming aspect (imo) so why don't give it a try? i think 5on5 didn't do too bad (till now) and as you can see it brought a bit of new challenge to the game
thats true changes bring something new, fresh breeze, but if change is bad, you shouldnt implement it (when you know if they change is good or bad? mmm you cant rly know that, so you make vote...), i mean you shouldnt make changes just for changes themselves, just to change something coz it got bored. its obvious that the game will get bored, no matter what game it is.

i would love a 3on3 EUROcup but a 3on3 or 1on1 nationcup is not needed and would be really boring to watch
and i still support 1on1 because lots of people underestimate 1on1 in et
too bad ladders are messed up if not i would love to play ladder 1on1 and actually would enjoy seeing top players fight each others in 1on1 games
that would make et a bit more exciting.
ET is not all about aim and removing 1 player makes the game faster and teams will be forced to rethink their lineups
and ofc most top players refuse this decision they probably don`t want to leave or kick another teammate. especially when you are atm not as active or as skilled as the rest in your team, people are just scared of these changes (most leaders don`t even dare to choose a lineup when they have enaugh players available)
i have been watching loads of games ..i probably have seen almost all ec/nc/esl/oldschool demos and tbh 5on5 demos are far more fun to watch than most of the 6on6 games
for example all of the cpc demos where great fun (compare them with esl 6on6 or et-cup and you would notice the big difference xD)
the only real problem atm with 5on5 is that we don`t have the correct config

mystic vs ferus xD
this however will never happen but if this was possible it would brake all viewers records @ ettv
but once again you choose to flame instead of actually thinking about what we can do to make this game even more exciting, keep it up <3
