Diablo2 ~December 2000-2004 and 2007-2008
Runescape 2001-2004 (Release of Rs2)
ET - September 2003 - ?
And some 3D chat program in 99-2002 :x
Played a few network games of Championship Manager around ~99, I don't know if I'd really count that though.
came out =]
I remember my brother mentioning RTCW to me when we saw an advert somewhere after it was just released but I took no notice of it until ET came out.
but i played somes rts before. Beginning around 2001.
age= 12? orsmth
and first shooter was ET.. pretty soon after the release..
Seriously there is a big lack of "Diablo 2" option :(
back end of 2002, I was rocking rtcw with my 56k connexion
Fun4Gamers, you know what Im talking about :>
I played far too long on an American server aswell.. and right after I got adsl so was practically back to 56k.
Bluecherry was its name, 30min beach only was the game.
there is the final stage when u go to hell where monsters spawn endlessly and you lose god mode if u had one on, I was spinning and holding the shoot button while my cousin kept writing IDDQD and IDKFA all the time, we kept doing this for about 20 minutes or so till we gave up. there was no winning doom and we learned it the hard way :D
Aber eins der besten Spiele ever! ;]
After that i have played rtcw, Cod2/4, q3/4/cpma and warsow
since 2000
RtCW singleplayer since release
first time ET on summer 2003 - clanplaying since late 2004
also tried RtCW MP later but the scene was already dead so I never got into it
my first online MP game was Unreal tho (1998 / 1999?)
1996 :o
edit: which would mean i started in 1997... meeeeeh i should have slept longer

RTCW (FPS) = 2 weeks lol
Red Alert 2: Yuris Revenge (RTS) = Longtime
Quake 3 Freezetag (FPS) = Long ass time - ~3 years
Anarchy Online (MMORPG) = Longtime
Quake 2 (FPS) = Couple months
Quakeworld (LAWL FPS) = A year or so
I remember that I used to play some games on that old PCs w/o a mouse, any1 remember that PCs? they had this huge CDs (square ones) so I remember that I had that racing game in it where the cups can chase u on the highway :) anyway, I play games since 1995/6.
My favourite games were Fifa 97 on the Megason, used to play it with my brothers.. and this game where u can use a pistol shaped controller and shoot the TV! :XD
adventure games and point and click games before. <3
NAKATOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
before that just LANs with friends .. GTA and other games
It must have been 1999/2000 .... It was lan only. And then I tried QUAKE 2 as well ,Unreal ,
QUAKE 3,Unreal Tournament,a bit of Nintendo 64 Goldeneye. Cafe had been closed in 2002/2003 when broadband became more popular and cheaper. One of mine friend from town
bought RTCW and became very good (IRON CROSS clan ) . He made a lan connection with
his 4 neighbours (he had broadband as the only one) and we played a lil bit but he bashed us all :D I decided to own him so I got myself a copy of ET with bots.... And I bought DIAL UP
modem. After my mother had seen first telephone bill she decided to invest int broadband DSL.
And that's how I started playing at home. Before LAN only or bots.
Basicly I always liked to play against people but never had a chance before as BROADBAND was extremely expensive in poland . It still is .
Soldier of Fortune 2 MP demo @ friends ->
When got internetings at home SoF2 MP Demo, but as my abroad internet was dead, didn't play it much as no latvian scene was present ->
Some delicious Counter Strike, was p0wning local pubs so HARD that got banned shit loads of time for cheating* ->
Got RTCW, as I was very interested in it after playing single player and checking MP on empty server long time before I got internet, joined latvian server, where 1 player was running around on mp_beach :)
- *VERY interesting story warning*, some guys were putting new plastic windows in my room while i was playing CS and raging local-city public, so I get banned for cheating, and exactly at that time one of the guys who was putting in windows comes over and asks what i am playing, so i say "LOl i play CS but WTFOMG got banned for cheating ARGHH", so the guy asks "which server?" i reply that our finest local one, and as it turns out the guy is admin of that server, he asks for a phone, calls to local computer-club and says "WTF UNBAN LAN-PROOVEN", so i got unbanned...for a whole week till some other admin banned me again :(
but me since runescape 2 + ET
i saw the rtcw shortcut @ my cousins pc and it looked cool so i clicked it and started to play :D

DOD:S = Sept. 2005 -> Apr 2007
UrT = Apr 2007 -> Jun 2008
DOD:S = Jun 2008 +
Unreal Tournament <3
but played ut and random games @ 56k(which was actually 33.6k on a good day)
Before that the only PC games I played were city building games by Sierra, Championship Manager (how my nickname came about) and Unreal tournament 99 (Game of the year edition) which my neighbor lent me when I said I got a PC, though only against bots/offline.
I didn't start using computers or the internet until really late anyway so, probably somewhere in 2005. Bit-tech says I registered on 24-02-2005, which is the oldest website I remember using bar my email (Yahoo).
First online shooter was BF42 in 2001, followed by ET in 2003.
senseless pub playing after spending like 3 hours in the toggo.de chat every day :/
2002, AoE2
started playing competitions with urt & et
first and only online game: ET
Thats the advantage of being old :P
and still the best game out there by far
Started with Action Quake 2, 2002 I switched to CS for about a year, then ET was released in 2003 and played that untill 2007. Been playing CoD4 since it was released previous fall.
ET - started Winter 2003
RtCW - started Autumn 2005 (for a few periods in competition)
Quake 3 - started Summer 2005 (mostly OSP at first, moved to CPMA shortly after)
Quake 4 - started Spring 2007, but lost motivation to practice
World of Warcraft - Summer 2006 until 2007, but ET kept me from pursuing
Medal of Honor - Before 2003, but deleted almost immediately after. Did play some Spearhead this summer but was boring (the top level in spearhead is camp+shoot and nearly no aiming skill is involved)
Call of Duty 2 - since december 2006 I think, never really liked the game that much
And in the first public release of warsow I used to practice that a lot as well, but I moved to cpma shortly after, didnt like wsw movement :)
That's about it I think. I also played a few other games online (QuakeWorld and Quake 2, Diablo 2, counterstrike, etc) but most of them weren't serious or anything.
Played various of games before that which my older brother brought home from LAN parties, such as Counterstrike, Battlefield, et cetera. Also played Medal of Honor before ET but got boring.
dod - since relase
ET - ~ since relase
+ Played some funny games with atari @ -93 ? or something. Then started to play doom @ -95 and then some noob games wich I cant remeber.
But I played Nibbles and Scorched Earth multplayer long before that. :)
but then played some rtcw instead of et.
so i have been playing online for 10 years
played against FlixX some 2o2s in jkja back in the day !111 :D
I see S3ti & topher are only other non-n00bs here.
Edit: Any1 remember "Wolfenstain 3D", game which preceded RTCW and gave it it's name? It was so much fun to play.

btw: 80186, 10MHz in turbo mode, 30MB RLL hard drive, you n00b!
I voted since Et anyway.
1st FPS Shootem up: Command and Conquer renegade (multiplayer) 2002 on 128k ISDN
The first fps I played was of course Doom at the age of 11 - 12, and the first pc game I ever played for a longer time was the jump & run "Commander Keen" at the age of 8. Funny, all the memorable games in my life are from ID.
offline?
ehmmm
Mario Brothers for nes?
oh, online... hum i belive since cs beta 3.0 (1999?)
1997.

Edit: Doom lans dont count right?
Correct, lans dont count.
WoW since january 2006- september- 2006 :D
I was 2pro4gaming!
Since Battlefield Vietnam
Before that, though, I played some games of Stars! in around 2000-2002, and played C&C Tib Sun with my best friend in '99. I think I might have played CS a bit too, but I don't really remember.
later i experienced Diablo 2 which i started in 2002
and then ET in 2003^^ with alot of D2 :P
