Question is somewhat self explanatory - There is an option for those of you who just happen to listen to all genres of music in exactly equal proportions. I of course can't add every genre so I'll just add what i consider the most popular.
note: House/Trance/Dance are to be included in the electronic category.
Favourite artists/bands are also welcome!

At least hiphop got rhymes although the lyrics are usually on the same level if you ask me. I can enjoy a few of the bigger groups, metalica, rage against the machine, guns 'n roses (old i know) and just a couple of songs I actually like.
I did listen to black metal shit, but I allways thought that was just me being 14 and really naive :)

^^
Anyway.. I'm not metal only, that'd be boring. Listening to a lot of electronic stuff as well as some pop, punk, random rock, even some 70's and 80's stuff. Trying to find good music regardless of the genres.
About lyrics.. unless you count some freaky black metal stuff and such, I'd say metal has a lot higher standards than hip hop in general :p
p.s. I'm not 14 and I don't listen to black metal :pp

In fact I listen to many kinds of music, so it's easier to ask me what am I listening to atm.
No lil wayne soulja boy 50 cent gay unit because i consider that as TRASH

james brown <3
amy winehouse
temptations

Nah I'm just kidding, I like Amy but there are others that don't and until everybody ( majority ) of people do I won't consider her a legend. But good choice, James Brown is the man!
WOAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH OVERDRIVE FEELS GOOD.

Oldschool!!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCevP9DJtIY THIS, is oldschool
http://de.youtube.com/watch?v=j48bgVM4pgw&feature=related
(= Various kinds of metal, prefer progressive though, jazz, blues, classical)
I highly doubt for instance you can compare The Album Leaf or Portugal. The Man with 1200 Micrograms or Juno Reactor. ;_;
Voted classical because it's the most elitist of all the options and because I feel like skewing your poll results with bullshit results. Still waiting for "Anything with less than 500 plays on lastfm"
shhhhhh
mostly metal and electronic stuff, but no such things as trance and dance
rock indie pop
4x4 club garage
screamo rock
mixture of these
imo its more like 60% of crossfire is mentally retarded ;p
Is this... surprising..?

START WEARING PURPLE, WEARING PURPLE. START WEARING PURPLE FOR ME NOW!
Right now I recommend Supperclub's Lounge mixes, best music to relax with.
need turbo folk option for balkan people
i'm wondering, is this musickum graph based on number of artists or number of plays?
like:
listen 3 times to a popsong from a popartist
listen 2 times to a metalsong from a metalgroup
-> pop: 60%, metal: 40%
or
-> pop & metal: 50%
Most Rap/R&B/Pop -songs and mainstream music generally have only simple melodies without any intelligence.
Imo good song has this ability: the more you listen it, the better it sounds.
like, less is often more.
Coldplay - alternative rock
oh shit, it was included in the first option :<
the only genre i can't really stand is hiphop :x
edit: i also love trve avante-garde norwegian necroizante necro-black metal
well i would like to say electronic, but that means disco trance and stuff that i hate..
so metal
Trance, techno and hard dance. I also listen to chill out and music which I guess you could put under classical sometimes. I like listening to some '80s music sometimes as well.
and Electro
np: Poisonblack - Bear The Cross
Indica,Irina, Natasha Bedingfield,Rihanna and so on
but nowadays more punk & rock too
elektro,house,club but mainly hardcore and some hardstyle
I appreciate a good rap song aswell, mainly tupac.
here again :P
and lumping "i dont like music" with "no particular preference" is the biggest paradox ever
Metallica
