Hi there, slac problem :D

Suprise caught my eye when i tried to open ET with slac:

GLW_StartOpenGL() - could not load OpenGL subsystem

doesn't do this without slac, tried without the +set fs_game etpro
and with some videosettings (cuz maybe my resolution/refreshrate was wrong)
but none of this helped

It's prolly not slac, but a config problem, can anyone give suggestions? if u need additional info, please ask

I had the same problem, I solved the problem by uninstalling antivirus(avira).

They say it's a problems with Avira, but it really is a bug in SLAC.

1. Open the configuration via "Extras -> Configuration" of the Avira AntiVir at the point "Product Update". There you deactivate the automatic product update.
2. At the point "General -> Security", temporarily deactivate the protection of the file- and registry entries.
3. Then you rename
"C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\avipbb.sys" in avipbb.sys.bak".
4. Now restart and reactivate the security of the file- and registry entries.

edit: just realized I have the same prob after restart now - so SLAC only works when there is no file- and registry entries security ^_^

i deinstalled avira and it works fine now, back to avg i guess :) but thanks for typing all this :D <3

This could be a number of problems.

1)Try changing +set fs_game etpro to +set fs_game etmain

2)If its a problem with your config check your renderer settings. I had that problem too i checked my config i didn't realize i accidently put r_fullscreen to 0 and slac wouldnt work when that happened. (Retarted what i did i know :p)

3)If none of these are the problems check SLAC sight http://sl-anticheat.com/faq.php
