kicked for invalid password

how are ya guys i have a problem which is a pain in the house.

everytime i want to join a password server i have to join a pub server with no password and then connect to the password server because;

the password from the last server i was on stays and i get kicked for invalid password. So basically i need to join a pub, /connect ip and then i need to put the password in manually otherwise if i use the command string e.g /connect 144.2.34.51:27960; yomomma, ET wont recognize the new password and ill get kicked for invalid password.

any suggestions are appreciated, sorry if you cant understand my situation its hard to explain

delete g_password from ur etconfig @ etmain/etpro + any password cvar and tell me if it worked :}
