Download a Config but it says "Couldnt exec"

Hi guys,

It has been years ago for me playing ET, but i want to get back on the trail again.

I've got only one problem i've downloaded a config from etconfigs.net and from mystic with the name mystic.cfg and i've i start the game and i do /exec mystic.cfg it says couldnt exec mystic.cfg.

Whats the problem?

just put the cfg in etmain folder and then join a game/exec

I've put it in etpro doesnt work, and it doesnt work either in etmain

it just keep's saying couldnt exec

It just wont work, ive changed the name nothing works.

open console type /fs_game "...."
put .cfg into fs_game name ...example /fs_game "etpro" so put your cfg in etpro folder
*check in your PC if you have one or 2 etpro folders*
and /exec name.cfg

i got my cfg in etpro. and if i type /fs_game etpro its write protected

when u write in console /fs_game press enter
what it say?
if says etmain
paste your cfg in

Try with your cfg in etmain, it does not change much anyway

Exactly what I was gonna say, also the command is /exec mystic not exec mystic.cfg

heres a plan!.. coppy the cfg. open et main, go to the cfg u have working and delete the content and paste the bastard. done!

in that case just allow et to make you a cfg. open et/ go to et pro and profile. and just delete the standard etconfig wich the game makes u default. connect to a server, this will make a default cfg. and just renname it whatever u want to call it. then just coppy mystics cfg in to that and save. job done (hopefully)
