Actually he said he hadn't played ET in 2 months so it couldn't have been him (but it is his [static] IP and he's been spotted on the server he got PB banned from alongside at least one of his buddies + he's been active lately according to yawn).

as far as i can tell the proofs of the matter is
if he was banned/"caught" on a public server which may have had its own cvar settings set ( not the cvars in the clanbase configs ) there simply is no proof !
