where to start uhm ... ah well lets start negative!
most things what i disliked in this movie are the small things. in the intro, the flags were really cheap they could've been much more better, the same goes for the names above in the right corner and the wolfenstein logo. didn't saw a lot of sync, expected more duo the most hated series. the volume is always going up and down it's just annoying to hear. few times i had to lower my sound, but then when the shoutcast came in i heared nothing ;p. you didn't used the same genre of music somehow it got me out of the mood to watch further. and the outro ... wow that was the baddest outro ever tbh, haha :D! like i said the small things. :)
but let's be positive!
what i always like in your movies is the view that i'm looking at, i never have to rewind back and focus to see the frag perfectly. quality at his bestest, no doubt about that! frags are awesome ofc! expected more sqzz tho and laughed a bit when i saw yourself in the movie (you're not really an allstar haha), but the frags were nice.

Well, as usually i don't like to write "reviews" about movies mainly because i tend to comment the bad stuff only, but well here i go:
I am disappointed, was expecting something different comparing to your past works. Something better, more professional ... There is alot of mistakes that even some non moviemakers can notice. For example the volume changes isn't smooth, looks horrible.
Pros:
- Frags / players choice
- Transitions, kinda loved them :)
- Quality / colors. I really enjoyed it this time
- Some edit/sync
- snoop frags @.@ awesome player
Cons:
- Some non movie worth frags (kamz @ 7.00 ; squall @ 7.10; and some others)
- Those useless rewinds between tracks
- Colt/lugger sound!!!!!!
- Even if you tried to edit/sync, it feels like a demo+mp3 movie most of the time.
- Needs some epic moments... You had alot of those, but you didn't work it as it should... More cams etc etc..
- Music (personal taste i know.. )
- some fast transitions (ex: reload @ 4.43.. i couldn't see the jere frag without pause the movie)
- Volume changes
Suggestions:
- Next time listen to me!! :D
- Smoother transitions (volume n stuff)
- More DOF
- Better cams (some cams didn't follow the action properly, ex: cam @ 4.10 )
- Music
- Edit/sync style, try to create something different from your current style!
But afterall it's a nice movie. I enjoyed, isn't boring! Good work kamz and we are waiting for another one :P

There is tons of 2d work, and that's really pleasant, but I got the feeling you used this movie like a lab to try effect/sequence.
Sync was good for the intro, but a bit lacking during the rest of the movie. Using too many music styles was not a good choice. Cams followed the actions.
Frags were really good, colours and quality too.
Main thing is bugging me is you called the movie 'This is ET', so with such a name I expected to be in the 'i want to play ET' state after I watched it but it didn't happened. The soundtrack is maybe responsible of that and not hearing the shoutcast correctly was frustrating .
A solid movie, with lot of work behind, but didn't got the thrill I was waiting for.

Didn't like a lot of the editing, especially the 20second+ rewind towards the end.
All the frags were top drawer.
Considering the title, I thought the movie would follow its early form in being more of a community advert, ala Sock's rendition. We've all got gamer friends who've never played ET and it's pretty tricky trying to choose a fragmovie as a showcase for the game - this could've been it imo, but you strayed away from the early shoutcasting + community shots and became more frag focused. Perhaps intentional, but I thought it detracted from the initial direction.

well... i dont judge quality due i just saw it on stream. but tbh i was a bit disappointed that u used some frags which were shown in 2/3 other movies, they are nice no doubt, but they arent catchy no more and im sure there are so many nice frags made in the latest past, so why picking old ones? also it fucking annoyed me, that u showed urself 3(?) times in the movie, guess just to provoke ur dumb-most hated stuff which u werent able to let out of the movie, its not funny its just gives the movie itself and the many many fucking insane frags a bad taste in all when they are srrounded with this kiddo stuff.
choice of music wouldnt have been mine - and im sure not for the majority of crossfire either, nor it seemed u cared much about syncing at all, also the shoutcast scenes came up pretty cheap for me :(O

I also disagree with what you did with the whole nations thing. Should have just left the names alone with the tags they were playing with. I think I agree with Baggiez' comment as well in regards to what he mentioned about Sock's video and how your selection of content could have followed different lines.
The overall flow was okay though, and I definitely did enjoy parts of the movie, but for how much you HYPED this movie up and "put so much hard work and concentration into" I don't feel it lives up.

snoop's frag vs ovr is just sick, I remember the game. otherwise the frags aren't THAT special since the teams that get fragged aren't really REALLY top teams, for example ferus fragging n1ce guys.. you just see so much what they do wrong there :D. and it has a lot of backrape.. but a few frags are insane though!. the movie is missing drago's ec final saving panzer and also could've had more nice actions, really liked the sqzz's flag cap. expected 10/10 from the frags, a bit disappoint of that.

nice choice of players. you could've add a few players more though, likes of gifty, potter, winghaven, toxic or acozz. it's a minus to put yourself in, since you can't really compare yourself with the rest of the players who won sereval lans, nc's and eurocups, if you wanted 2 from uk then you should've taken sheep/mztik/ross/meez/razz instead of you. but yeah you being in doesn't ruin the movie, your frags were pretty good!. Also pretty retarded that my name isn't mentioned in the movie eventhough it has my frag in it.

a good movie but not a movie that makes me watch it more than a few times.
Would've loved to see some more teKoa though. Also I think like Matias said players like Winghaven and toxic could probably have given their fair share of actions as well from the past few years (especially toxic :D), and it wouldn't have hurt including some more players from the same country (although sticking to 2 a country was in most cases not really a problem and the choices are pretty much perfect).
What I didn't really like though was the fact you changed names on popups - personally for me it's 'fun' to see with which team the player made the frag (e.g. me with ECW and team west, XyLoS with polar, etc.). Of course this is all personal taste.
Also didn't really know why you put the rewind in, was pretty unnecessary :D

The fact that you add yourself together with those "ET monsters" made me lol a bit but understandable as is your movie.
i got goosebumbs when i saw matias as a covie on frost and his amazing shots also because i was watching it on ETTV :)

The only thing I would moan about is the outro, I thought there could / would have been some epic outro with like LAN results + EC results or whatever (a bit like Twisters RTCW Competitive History 2002 Movie) but then again, that might have been a bit too much. I reckon a really epic outro was needed though instead of Most-hated Most-hated The End ;D
overall 9/10 though! (some frags were kind of boring but only two or three if that! And I wanted a monster outro!!!! :D)

Just remembered why I didn't give it any more points, the pop ups for "This Is ET" I personally thought should have been the actual in-game pop ups, obviously custom so that you only have the frags coming up from the players POV but that would have been much more fitting I think. Also (I think Tox said it lower down) the custom pop ups with the players nation tags instead of the actual team tags they were playing in was for some reason annoying! Would have prefered to see the real teams that they were playing for :)

- Overall Atmosphere of the movie. I actually expected to see some 'ZOMG AWESOME AIMING/TEAMWORK' moments, but I felt the movie lacked those moments. Of course it had some nice frags but they way you worked it out didn't really had much 'feeling' around it. It was more like you wanted to show the frag alone and not how amazing moment it was.
- Missed teamwork/objective moments, since that is what ET is about imo.

Watched the stream, so I am not the one who should judge the quality!
also, the movie title and the content didnt match, as the original this is et by sock was a shocase of the game, whereas this was a showcase of the best players. so even tho it was a really good movie, it doesnt hit the title u targeted for unfortunetly. would of loved to see some team action, where for example revive trains work, and crossfires and movement of teams come to play during any attack or defence, and any team clutch play when the map is nearly over and tension is high.
its like naming your newborn baby girl John, doesnt fit lol
overall, its a keeper and definetely one of the better movies of late.

summary: it sucked. imo u just wanted to have a community frag movie in ET where the BEST OF THE BEST are given that you are part of the movie. You know it wouldn't happen so you made a movie yourself :D

- image quality is watchable, not dark, not bright, nice and sharp, almost the way I love it :)
- sync was nice, some effects werent that necessary to put there but at least I was not disturbed by anything (bored by rewind tho :) )
- as many before already said, your content is great but not that legendary as one expects to be so, maybe it would be better to pick more players (I am missing few legends there, dont see why u picked the concept of just 2 players from each country), in few cases maybe some other fragz (for example I expected to see some tekoa pistol pwnage as he is a real pistol king). I also do agree with some ppl who were pointing out that u should have not include ur own fragz, facepalm on that from me. I have to say I expected it but kinda hoped u wont do it. Nevertheless, its not rly something to flame you to death for.
in general, movie was highly enjoyable with few zZz moments, definately contender for top3 movie of 2010

Watched it already and I've got confused feelings about that. Intro was really nice edited (I thought about something other ^^). When the frag part started, the flow for me was destroyed. =( But I continued watching... For me is synchronized well (I'm not fanboy of super-duper special effects/transitions etc. and I love when frags are matching music. You got extra points there from me!). Really liked the middle part (With Tobymac's song) because hade fast paced frags and was keeping me to end! That rewinding stuff at 9 min isn't good thing. :x Shoutcast part at the end gave me also weird feelings... Outro is pretty disappointing. =/
What else? Colors and quality were really good. Hitsounds were also nice but I'm not fan of turning down music. Frags were really insane and I was really satisfied. =]
Maybe some points are harsh but overall this is really nice movie and I've saved that on my HDD. =) Anyway good job!

One of the best movies :).
The ones used were not very good: not much emotion and mostly monotone description of what is happening. The ones that did have emotion (tosspot only pretty much, polish guy was ok) were not supported by the music at all. They had much more potential if used properly.
Quality was great, so was content.
The music was inappropriate (no that is not an opinion). it does not create an atmosphere for a community movie / introductory movie to the game. It fits much more into your most hated series (intro being the exception).

Movie redo THIS IS ET - TW, other classes ,construct battlefield structures and military installations in the midst of combat to gain tactical advantages for their TEAM. Maps and communication abilities require players and teams to develop advanced strategies and tactics in the struggle for front line domination.
I think if you had spent more time and added what really ET is about it would of cancelled out the cons colors/music/only frags w/e people complained about.

That frag takes your breath but you managed to show frags like matias's matchchanging sniping on frost at the cic7 final, as interesting as your sick 4 man standardpf on supply (which made me lol really hard to find such bullcrap in such a movie)...

Frags weren't always that good as I would call it "This is ET", because there were way too many
backrapes and not always against top opponents, but I think frags and nice killing sprees such as the one from sNoOp vs.overload saved it. Just one question about that, why you placed yourself into the movie :D? Nothing against you but you can't really compair yourself with these other guys.

About the creativity I can only say, man, you are a bomb dude :D I liked all the ideas you realized in this
movie (especially the intro), tho they weren't always worked out perfectly, liked the idea of the name popups up on the right in the begin of the frag. Tbh I think it would have been better if you didn't change the tags into the country tags, at the frag popups, because I think it's always great to see which team they played for in this frag.

Quality was pretty decent as usual, luckely I didn't notice any blury slow motions as often in your
movies before ^^. Just the quality at zoom in Matias' sniper frag was kinda fucked up hard.

Editings were often a little bit cheap, such as the camera effect at the outro (made with AE?),
and scene with the logo of the movie was really epically shit compaired to the other editings :o)
Liked the scene at sqzz' docrun where he suddenly showed up, just would liked to have seen more
of the whole situation in that run, because many guys don't know it. Shoutcasts were often a lil bit strange synced, and the swaps between them could have been better. And then there were
those cams which weren't really exact.

a usuall fragmovie with quite a lot of effects, only some synced parts, quali not the best (at least in my eyes, could be caused by own3d aswell), the only real highlights in this movie are the known names, and maybe the shoutcasts, but i really dislike the music in some parts... it is pretty ok in the begining, then after the shoutcasts they get pretty silent & after a while they get loud again until the next hitsound/shoutcaststuff... expected more from this movie, tbh.
Creativity 7 +1 (for intro, liked especially the countryscan ;))
Editing 6 (disliked the overuse of the hitsounds, also the soundlevel was a bit fluctating,)
Content 8.5 (highskilled players, nais frags, what do you expect more from HIGH-skillers? )
Quality 7 (think there would be way more potential in the quality of the movie, the soundtrack also wasn't that good. it was ok, but nothing special at all, i was a bit disapointed after the great sound in the intro)

Apart from that, was pretty good. I guess since you made the movie, you get to add your own frags, even if they felt a little out of place.
