Other teams worthy of mention
I'll be frank, the only reason why snd are here and not in the other section is because i didn't get a chance to see them, but i did talk to a number of players and the general feeling was that the team was good and to quote one opinion “they've got good teamplay” and “they're good enough for a quali trust me”. With a solid set of players consisting of former t34 / vib players and Germanys top rifle at present hazer, with former Helix star coffinfeeder and melkR filling the remaining spots, the team came without a news post and aren't going to make a big wave in the et world but the team is solid and respectable and i cant wait to see them in action.
A high self rating followed by maybe the title of being Poland's 3rd best clan, usually a Eurocup will see 2 or more Polish clans and with NETRunners absence from the sign ups they may feel a opportunity arising. However, personal distrust of most polish players not from the known 2 clans i feel Clanbase will follow suit especially given the cheating scandal that embroils some of its members and look elsewhere to hand out a qualifier.
ESVKA
Division 3 champions and the team vying for the Czech number 1 spot. ESVKA is maybe possibly not one to be wary of for Eurocup at least for now, but i would be see them following in the same light as Retroactive moving steadily up the ranks and actually picking up achievements in the process. One to watch for the future.
Division 2 champions maybe worthy of mention with some guys from the former iGods side given a Eurocup qualifier two seasons ago against a vicious and evil side (later went on to form the foundation of the all German Helix squad recently) lost over 3 maps back then. Hard to imagine, especially if a team like suXus gets overlooked then i cant see a window for the violence guys even though they have actually achieved something, unlike there Estonian counterparts.
The team formally known as Cortana were marginally disappointing last term with losses to pillars aka HardMethod and a narrow defeat to cdap – oddjob at Open Cup Premier left them finishing third in there group. These days the hard practising Croatian's boasting a slightly different line-up and led by Eurocup silver medallist gmx aka gumiflex, are out to impress, defiantly not one to be so easily overlooked.
The Benelux guys seem to have been together for ever despite some of there more known players moving onto new avenues the team keeps going and provide a beacon for stability, possibly not skilled enough for Eurocup although they made Open Cup Premier play-off's after qualifying top of their tough group at a canter before crashing out in the first round in a tight game with ec4 strangely, one of the teams easier to write off and most likely another season at Premier level.
The Czech number 1 are hitting blanks at the moment and in the game I watched they were undeniably trounced and out played, and this was against one of the new teams where you would expect infrags experience and teamwork to nullify the skill difference, but it wasn't the case and I'm not the only one who has noticed infrags dip in form. For the mean time they will be overlooked despite a good reputation and constant line up.

Because it was clear inc won't play, lepari decided to go over to 141
And yes, I've seen them play and even played with 1 of them.
@ Spirea - pff probably did but i wasn't listening propely! :P
@ wesbo - i remember there being pre ec et cups for the last 2, so agree
@ venom - lol
@ fuzz - was a pleasure, shame i couldn't watch you guys tbh, i will go out of my way to do so if you do get a invite
@ tactics - yeh someone else had to post this for me so there are some mistakes (admin is fixing them now <3 petrip) and rated are easy oc premier champs this season!!! i can see it now :P
@ hazer - cheers :P
Btw, nice comparing eZ and blutSTURZ. Nearly all eZ players have played EC before, whereas barely any blutSTURZ players have played EC before. Not to mention that some of them are still considered online-only. :O)
hab euch nie bemerkt bei den praccs jungs :DD
Dignitas, zP, impact, TLR, 141, polar, img, FF, Incomplete, uC, AuXilia, eZ, cZar, vigorz, suXus, bSTURZ, beaver, ec4, pingwins/morrigu then ofc elite with their direct invite :/
But I would put retro in as a little chance option with v&e, overdose, infrag, etc :/
bSTURZ have amazing individual aimers and are showing some signs of teamplay in their game, which if perfected, can be dangerous for their opposition.
beaver might not have known names like other teams but they have a nice understanding of each other along with some pretty decent aimers like dabster and iratou :>
but i think you guys should definetly be considered based on how well you play together
Clans get judged on the players in the team, rather than the team as a whole. Like you said, clans like bSTURZ and eZ have good individual players, but what people don't seem to be taking into account is that they're both less than 2 weeks old and prolly won't have the teamplay of older, more stable teams.
And beaver have sacc, how long do you think they'll last? :O)
a few of ur players wouldnt be close to what they show online @ a lan 4 sure:D
aaamazing grace, how sweet the sound....
im only having fun:D
ur my loverbunny (im getting pretty many loverbunnys tbh;:)
And im proud of it..
im so looking forward to play @ cpcII again.. its gonna be sweet to pwn players i hardly hit or kill online:D
Btw, don't say stuff like overRated wins easily this years OC Premier. It diminishes the value of your ratings of other teams.
and as for viax dont know who you are or who you play for but i hope as for your whine you get an eurocup qualifer hehe sad but gl or your life might be ruined
i personally wouldnt be too happy to play quali against a team like FBI
ulimate Conspiracy – 10
eurocup winners incoming.
Retroactive – 9
runner ups
close-up.
FBI-Team – 9
hax-up.
I dunno how many matches will need to be played for the qualifier, in CoD2 for example, there is a two round bracket (16 clans play, 4 clans will qualify for the EC), it would be great to see that in ET as well, so more clans get the chance to show what they are worth.
@ Team Violence - they have actually achieved something, unlike there Estonian counterparts - Winning the 2nd division of OC is more of an achievement than ending 3rd in the Premier division?
gg guys
you still have alot to learn, young padawan !
lol pls, Vodoo Gaming > FBI
:P
