Team-Beta are the self-proclaimed number one German team. With a renewed roster and increased motivation, the current side hopes to be a serious contender for the spring season.
I caught up with Pumu to talk about the side.
Adacore What is your lineup for the upcoming season?
Pumu:
Butchji
Ernie
Hatred
Keran
Pumu
Shy
Adacore Any changes from the o6 lineup last season?
Pumu Yes, only Butchji, Ernie & I are still playing. The others left for different reasons (Amunra, ilL, Maxx, Mike). We added some new players at the end of December 2005 but it didnt work with them so we added some other guys and we are still playing with those: Hatred, Keran and Shy.
Adacore Last season your oceans6 side were the only team to default in all their playoff games - do you think you'll be able to remain stable enough to compete this season?
Pumu We are more motivated now and wont fold in an EC season because our players want to have some success!
Adacore Which of the new teams do you expect to step up and fill the void at the top left by so many of last season's top teams quitting?
Pumu demiurge - we played some pracs with them, they are good and have experienced players.
Adacore What do you think of the German ET scene - do you consider yourselves the strongest German team?
Pumu We were the best german team in the previous EC. And i think we are also the best german team at the moment. But the best german teams have left already almost 1 year ago (j52, old helix, jK, shuuk - even if we have some players of them)
