So after all was said and done within the game i had the chance to sit in on, i couldn't help but think how much we are missing out on within the PC scene, not only do we cling to the ideals of skill only really being pulled from previous titles such as S&D within CoD4 / CoD2 and denying new game types that fit the maps so well. The point of this whole blog/column is to encourage us to try new things, to stop being so damn stubborn and embrace what we are really missing out on. I am far from saying to run around with all the perks on and score streaks (like the American leagues do) but at least try some new things. I feel we are turning into those children at school who got scared when they had something on their plate that wasn't fish fingers and chips and immediately turned our noses up at it.

I would also like to point out the amazing reaction from the Console community, they gave genuine feed back to me casting which is fully appreciated and i fully accept my lack of knowledge and pledge to work on it as they were so embracing of me it would be rude to not reciprocate the feelings.

So guys, with this in mind i have spoke to a set of people to run a CTF tourney online to see if we really can adapt to what is in front of us...

Check out the cup here .. http://www.tek-9.org/forum/call_of_duty_series-46/call_of_duty_black_ops-73/bo2_ocl_ctf_cup_11dec_ladders-120015.html

Please do get involved and give it a try. If it fails it fails and we go back to what we know but why not try it.

So i pose the question to you. Adapt or die ... does the statement apply to the PC community or are we stubborn for a reason ?
