Group A features the biggest gap between the seeds of the top 8 teams with Dignitas being seeded first and Belgian Fraternity getting the eight seed. Thus we will be seeing a match with perhaps the best ET team facing, well, the weakest team of the best teams.
Let's see who'll lead group D

Soon starting is the match between the two teams considered favorites in group D: Overload versus Acsi-eSports dNan. It's likely that the team winning this match will in the long run also end up on top of group D, meaning they will have a bigger chance of facing an "easy" opponent in the playoffs.

While the European TAG has bailed out of the tournament the mostly Dutch TAG will be facing Impact Gaming in perhaps one of the first matches between two contenders for the top here at the Antwerp eSports Festival.

Cut him some SLAC.
The day when SLAC (Speed Link Anti Cheat) will be forced on this community is coming closer. We see countless journals and comments flaming it, saying it's work of devil himself, that it will kill ET community. What's there to kill?

As a season comes and goes, the never ending debate and discussions about the mappool seem to arise every single time, and to no avail it seems to always end without an agreement or permanent solution, every person has a different opinion and a different perspective to every map. The majority of the community will agree that ET needs a decent map to add to the mappool, maybe even two for that matter.
This is ET

Three years ago, I remember being on an ETTV server broadcasting NationsCup and I also remember what a viewer said :

Consensus by committee is a much derided form of management – criticisms include a tendency towards appeasement and an easy middle ground. But this week the Clanbase, Crossfire & AEF admins, in partnership with the ET Committee fought back against the trend and made an alteration that caused outrage.

Now before anybody reads this. This is not me being scared of playing anybody or anything like that. It's more about principles and sportsmanship..
I am of course talking about CB Eurocup XXI and certain teams and individuals.
You can see the play-off tree here - http://clanbase.ggl.com/rules.php?lid=10449#chap_1194

With the recent announcement of AEF going live with prize pots, signup dates/deadline, fees etc all announced it is surely a great period for Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory. Or at least you would like to think so.

7 years after ET has been released, here we are still playing the game we all love. Many were those who predicted ET will die after 2-3 years, 4 years surely dead!? What's this, 7 years and here we still are standing strong, and you can arguably say that this CiC7 was as strong as CPC2, and what about the signups? A staggering 35 signups! Who would have ever predicted that ET would be breaking signup records after 7 years? galahad? Dj Wheat? I have my doubts.
