Although we originally announced virtual betting would take place for all the matches in the Intel Core 2 Extreme Challenge main tournaments this proved a struggle to implement in the way we would have liked and therefore have a slightly different offer for you.
With the Grand Finals of each of the 3 major tournaments just around the corner we have created a way for you to predict the outcome of each Final and put yourself in with a chance of claiming a prize. All you have to do is complete a form noting who you think will win each match and the scoreline for that match. Points are then awarded based on the actual results of the finals and this is worked as follows:
# 20 points for predicting the correct winner of the match
# 10 bonus points for predicting the exact scoreline
# -1 point for every round different from your predicted scoreline to the actual scoreline
# 0 points if you predict the wrong winner of a match
This means that in total there are 90 points up for grabs and the people who get the highest points total will be entered into a draw to win some Intel goodies. Remember that CS 1.6 and CS:Source are MR15 whilst CoD2 is MR10. This means your CS / CSS scorelines will be 16-xx whilst your CoD2 one will be 11-xx.
The closing date for applications will be 12:00 GMT (Midnight) on Saturday 26th. In order to get started you will need to use the link below to visit the form. Once submitted it will automatically transfer you back to the Challenge website.
Go on, have a go and who knows, you could walk away with some tasty prizes courtesy of Intel.
