Fever means that your body has to metabolise to make more antibody. That means that you need a lot energy and power, therefore you are feeling very tired. If you drink alcohol, then your body has to deal at first with the alcohol, before it can handle other stuff in your body, because it seems like poison. Therefore it cant built up in the meantime any antibodies. The problem is that your body is heating up and this gets supported by the fever. Therefore your fever will raise and thats damn dangerous. Your heart can get problems and you could also get a circulatory collapse.

if you want to see your mate, then go see him. but dont fucking drink any alcohol. better drink some coke or water or even tea. best would be to stay at home and see him some days later..

I have already ran 2km (some shit running test @high school) when I had pneumonia and I heard that could have killed me :( (didnt know about the pneumonia before the test) well well I'll just try to drink couple of beers and see how things go.
