Introduction
I have the honour to present to you the ET awards 2006. I wanted to release this at the end of Februari, but due to some personal issues I only posted it now so some of these awards might look dated.
Along with Mashed I made a total of 10 categories. The nominees were made by people like Tosspot who cover the game and top players of teams like Idle, zP and aMenti. All nominees were put in alphabetical order, even after pressure from Winghaven to reverse the order. Also, the list of people who nominated will not be released. If your big fan isn't nominated, the chances of him actually being awarded are slim to none.
I will try to finish the last nominees and get a voting system online as soon as possible.
Enjoy!

Crossfire announces sending a team to Quakecon after a large show of support by the community.
Best Overall Player:
Clown, mr-I-eat-Swiss-for-breakfast. Currently playing with one of Europe's best teams Amenti. He is an all-round player, known for his effective and clever gameplay. Equally skilled with both smg and landmines.
Holz, probably one of the most underrated idle players ever. Like Clown he is an allround player which you can find playing engineer or medic, while still being able to pull off some nice support fires on maps like radar.
Jakazc, this is the workhorse of the idle team. You usually find him as the last man standing, reviving his teammates and ruthlessly cleaning up the remaining allies attackers. Although he is not as versatile as Night or Kot he is a very experienced player who plays the medic class with near perfection.
Jauhis, like Jakazc he is a workhorse. While players like mystic might have excelled him in stats, Jauhis is a firm teamplayer who put objective ahead of personal stats. This playing style, along with being at the right place at the right time made him the backbone of the old Parodia. He is a good ingame leader, able to stay, calm and quit at the heat of battle. He is one of the most experience ETplayers along with Night and Holz, with over 7 years of wolfenstein duty.
Kot, you can find him playing about any class. A superb fieldops who can do the medic service as well, backed up with an occasional panzerfaust. He is a very allround player with superb aim, teamplay and understanding of the game.
Night, the estonian Boxer. Well know for his fast gameplay and his objective oriented style. While most players rely on their aim, he uses his team and his understanding of the game to totally dominate any match he is playing. He is also one of ET's most versatile players, being able to play every class with near perfection but the medic, while at the same time leading his team on comms.
Reload, A mysterious blend of Estonian spam and teamwork added with some Polish rambo genes. When Tekoa left idle, most people found he was a weak replacement. Reload proved us all wrong. With an aim that is considered one of the best in ET and his effective playstyle he is a player any team wants. Also performed a few miracles at quakecon to prove his place at the highest ranks of ET.
R3vers, some people complain he isn't consistent, other say he's a bad loser. Still nobody can deny he is one of ET's greatest. Like his Estonian brothers in arms, he counts on his team and experience to get the job done. An excellent rifle, who is equally skilled with the smg.
Urtier, although you will mostly find him playing the field ops class, idle forces players to play new classes that came with renewed tactics. So it happened that the player we all got to know as one of the best field ops in ET had to play engineer or medic. While still being a fops to the bone, Urtier is a valued asset to any team.
Xionn, probably one of the most controversial players. Xionn was a player who only played pubs and totaly raged them as a matter of fact. Luckily people noticed his skills and soon he played with the some of best of the best players RTCW had to offer. In ET however he hasn't performed that much, but his reputation as a hard worker, a teamplayer and an objectivewhore still persue him till this day.
Best Aimer
Butchji, the german wunderkid who had the longest journal ever dedicated to his cheating skills. After playing at Quakecon all ET could see he didnt need hacks to rack up the kills. His playing style can be described as highly effective, always lining up under the perfect angels to get the cleanest shots. Maybe he is not the fastest shooter or the bestest tracker out there, but he sure knows how to maximize the accuracy and damage he can do.
Danone, the player with the highest sensitivity in ET while still being able to do massive damage. There was a time when high sens owners were cast out as cheaters, but then came Danone. The Italian Ferrari certainly deserves his place here with his amazing playstyle.
Ferus, he's your perfect EC finals standin (if Xes isnt around). While he actualy plays CS most of the time and earns a good buck with it too, he sometimes plays a Quakecon game or an EC final. He is well known for his allround aggresive aiming style, relying all to well on his skill to outaim all but the best aimers with ease.
Joop, known for his strong performance at CPC1 and keen gameplay. As an aimer he never loses track, and his crosshair is always dead on target. He is a very consitent aimer who is famous for his last minute saves. His ability stay focused under the presure, and keeping a consistent aim make him a backbone to any team.
Kot, a very consistent aimer. Both relying on his excellent aim and game understanding. Much like butchji he mostly relies on his experience to predict the opponent and lining up for the best shots. All this turns him into one of the most high skilled players in ET, never dropping a game, always performing well.
Maus, the new mystic? Once upon a time it seemed like 46-48% accuracy was a magical limit. Then came mAus. Much like Mystic he plays a defensive game, keeping control over his surroundings at all times. Along with survival instinct he has one of the fastest aims in ET. All this turned him in an all out fragwhore. No matter what map or team he plays for, you will always find mAus giving away most damage. Although he is respected for his amazing aim, some players taunt him for his lack of teamplay.
Razz, banned for using rivatuner in pracs, one of ET's wunderchilds was recently allowed back into CB. He still has much to proove, a lot of people believe Razz can come back and once again play at the highest levels of ET. Although he plays a rambo style of play, hunting for damage, he still remains a very good player to have on your team.
Reload, he is one of ET fastest aimers and he damn well knows it. He played perfect games at Quakecon, amazing the scene about how much damage the estonian could do without his lagging internet. His Estonian heritage makes him an objective whore, still he keeps up a very aggresive style of play, relying on his fast reflexes to change the outcome of the game.
Tekoa, probably one of the best luger shooters out there. When playing Quake he gets picked on a lot for suppposedly hacking with the rail, and his skill to get his dot not moving relativly to the opponent even impresses boothbabes. He's a very consistent player, having an average playing style. You wont see him trickjump at radar or trow amazing spamnades. Like Jakazc he's one of those last man standing, an invaluable member to any team. A player able to stay alive and keep the game going for your team, no matter the circumstances.
Wiesiek, the Polish rambo got called a cheater by many of his fellow polish ETplayers, even by oldschool veteran Lockheed! Untill he proved his aiming skills at some polish lans. As most Polish players he heavily relies on his superior aim to outgun all but the best aimers.
Perfo, along with a good understanding of the game, he shows some polished aiming. Much like Razz he sometimes get carried away by the frags, turning into killing sprees like he was shooting on some random public. Still he remains an objective player, doing all kind of winghaven moves to annoy his opponent.
Best Medic
Darky, comming from RTCW he is the alltime medic of zeropoint. His RTCW roots make him a total revive whore, your perfect second for any 'search and annoy' attack. Old grandpa Raziel would certainly have loved him to be his slutty.
Marv, he's a very natural player, able to adapt fast. This ability allows him to survive much longer when things go bad. This survival instinct along with an excellent aim makes him one of the few remaing good medics out there.
Senji, maybe he doesnt have the speed of Sqzz or the aim of Tekoa but he sure is one of ET's fastest revivers. Never ever missing one revive, never leaving anybody behind, all this makes him a great medic.
Sqzz, legendary for his famous North radar defence at the ETallstars where he managed to hold off a full axis counteroffence with superb reviving, amazing movement and astonishing luger aim. He is mostly know for his superior movement which almost seems like a second nature to him, aiding him to outmove and outsmart the enemy.
Tekoa, while having one of the best aims in ET, Tekoa always remained somewhat of a defensive medic. He plays an excellent solo medic, while his great aim makes him a great guy to have with you as a medic, always giving those revives, always staying alive to keep the offence going.
Best Field Ops
Butchji, in his hunger for damage and bullets, Butchji recently played Field Ops more and more. Along with his longtime ET experience it allows him to deal massive damage, while keeping his deadly aim at work at all times. His support fires might not be perfect yet but he can pull of some nice arty support when the time is needed.
CrozZ, the Israelian lagger has an impressive servicerecord, playing at the highest regions of ET. Although some might blame his skills on lag, his support and artillery fires are one of the best in ET. Combined with the ability to outlag even the fastest aimers, he is truely a fops to be feared.
Evil
Kot, with his perfect understanding of the game and his great prediction skills, Kot makes a great fieldops. Always perfectly knowing what is going on around him, he is the perfect player to make those difficult support fire kills that can change the balance of a map. He also succeeds in staying alive and keeping the damage going in difficult maps like adlernest where most fieldops have a hard time.
Potter, famous for humiliating the Dsky with an 8 man killing spree. His clanhistory would make any ETplayer drool. He played with some of ET's most well known teams like E*stars, Dignitas and Zeropoint.
Urtier, is well known for his amazing long range aim. Ever since he played with junk52 you could find the german Field Ops sending love halfway across the map and still keep getting headshots. His amazing skill to keep the game long range at most time make him a feared enemy. Being the teamplayer that he is, his teammates never run out of ammo while at crucial times he locks down chockepoint with deadly spam.
Best Spammer
Evil, being the allround player that he is, Evil is a master of spam. Being it as a soldier, a field ops or any other class, he knows how to get in that support fire you need to keep off an attack or break a defence.
Gifty, with his prefered class being the rifle nader, Gifty is one of ET's best spammers. His aggresive playing will see him priming nades all the time, hitting time in and again.
Night, if anybody could play ET without a clock its him. He is known to predict spawning times more accurate then a nexus bot and even 25 second spawns dont require a timer for him. His playing style is totaly based on teamplay and timing. Playing with the best team in ET and always perfectly predicting the opponent his spam is feared by even ETs finest. Is also great at reading the opponents mind, and playing tricks on them with nades, making the opponent go faster or slower to make that perfect kill.
R3vers, like night he relies on his great team to be able to massive damage. Ever since joining the idle lineup, revers prospered. While not as consistant as some other players, he always has most headshots given. Being able to give those headshots with a rifle range gives him a great advantage on close range. Unlike Gifty he is more controlled, able to be both aggresive or defensive if the time calls for it. His riflework is great, but not as innovative as that of Night or Raveneye.
Toxic, one of the growing stars of ET. Still playing OC 2nd division last season the maltese winghaven is getting better every day. He has a playing style that is highly based on his ability to predict his enemy and outsmart his opponent rather then outgun him. As Night, he's one of those player that will play tricks on you, or get you amazed by stuff you never saw before.
Urtier, being a master of long range shooting and crossfire this german field ops prefers to take down the enemy the smart way. Being one of ETs most experienced players he knows when the time is ripe for a perfectly placed arty or support fire.
Winghaven, he somehow become a legend in ET, being able to humiliate parodia on supplydepot with some well place panzerfaust and even more impressing support fires. Some people claim he needs a team to work for him. Nevertheless he plays smart enough to keep up a high level while having only an average aim.
Best rifle
Gifty, without doubt the most aggresive rifler in ET. He has a nature for violence and aggresive gameplay. This is not somebody you want to argue with, at least thats what his ET psych profile sais. He sometimes overestimates himself, though this is made up for the numerous well played attacks he makes. If you want to attack and take some firepower along with you, this is the guy you need.
Iron
Night, there is no rifle as effective as night on supplydepot. On the map we played over and over again, there is really not much you can do versus the One. Timing is like second nature to him, turning him into one of the best wallhacklike players ET ever saw. At maps like supplydepot, maps we played for ages, he manages to come up with new ways to get his rifles where noone wants them. His ability to read both the game and the opponents thoughts make him one of ET's best riflers.
Raveneye, can you see? In his characteristic playing style Raveneye still surpasses night while attacking. There has never been an attacking rifle as skilled as raveneye. Like Night he has the ability to think fast when the time calls for it. Also famous for his deadly garant fire at close range, pushing forward or even proning at times.
R3vers, although he might not be as innovative as Raveneye or Night, he does master the rifle skill well. Along with great rifle nades, he adds some amazing estonian spawn which make him a perfect rifle to have in any team.
Riddla
Tigerii. Most people don't know much about him, but every respected rifle will assure you Tigerii is a very effective rifle. The recent return of Riflemaster Raveneye put Tigerii on the background, not being able to show us what he is really capable of.
Toxic
XyloS
Most Underrated player
Acozz. Wasting way to much time on strategic games Strategum aka Acozz still succeeds to deliver. Although his team aMenti hasn't been able to submit the Estonian powerhouse idle, they are one of the few remaining teams in ET that don't get raped in their spawn by Idle. To few give the Croatian the credit he deserves: a versatile and tactical player.
Dav1d, once again a die hard objective player. A medic that will get those critic revives, while keeping up a good kill/death ratio. Somehow he looks unimpressive as he gives cover or backs up a player. Unimpressive as it looks he still remains a valued asset to any team. He's a very nice guy to hang out with on comms, and his natural way of playing ET is underrated by way to many.
Evil, every team need a Mcguyver. A guy that goes panzer when things dont go as they should be going. A player that can adapt and improvise. Playing for the german powerhouse Helix, one of ET's most stable clans. Maybe he doesnt play all classes to perfection like Night does, but even while playing the most difficult positions and classes he remains a great help to his team.
Fobje
Ganon, he tried several times to play at ET highest levels, but somehow the adventures alway turned out a to be 2 week trips. An all time Team.be player he recently left the scene. He played with the legendary reload team and was well know to be a one man army. Equally skilled with smg as with support fires.
Jakazc, some players dont really get noticed quit as much as they should be. Jak is one of them. Being an all time medic, he is a pure teamplayer. Always playing an objective focused, disciplined style of play. Although at critical times, he show his ability to stay calm and get those important frags most player still underestimate him. As most other Idle players there is more to them then just their kill/death ratio.
Jauhis much like Jakazc people don't give him the credit he deserves. The loyal medic that he is, he is the basis of any offence. Although he played in one of ET's most dominating teams, playing with such players as mystic and raveneye, people underestimate the skill that resides in this swede.
Xionn, although he played with RTCW greatest he never really proved his skill in ET. People who value him call him an objective whore, a player with buckloads of skill, but in ET he still has much to prove. Nevertheless, his RTCW past was enough for him to play Eurocup.
Most Hated Player in ET:
Warlord, famous for taking over Tosspot BNC along with half Qnet. Most succesfull qnet takeover in ET history allows him to claim the title of ET's most hated this year.
Kamz, where shall we start. Harassing websites with 2002 php tricks, getting whole channels glined, crashing servers. The list is endless. Biggest mystery is why clanbase allows him to keep playing for their league, even more mysterious why other people want to be associated with him. If anybody in ET deserves a most hated award, its Kamz.
CrozZ, this guy lags. Eventhough he played EC, backed up by an impressive servicerecord in ET his ability to annoy his opponent both with lag and his arrogant attitude shows the force is strong in this one.
Guardian, although he's a retitred ET veteran who doesnt play that much any more Guardian still manages to be one of ETs most hated. Along with the highskilled attitude he keeps on annoying entire communities.
Humm3l, also know as the cooller of ET. Comments like 'It was a closed game' make you underestimate his ability to annoy you. He and his evil minions are well know for their attempts to take over RTCW and trying to ruin as much EC qualifiers as possible. With his all yerman team he manages to sometimes surprise friend and foe with victories over skillwise stronger teams. Surely one of ET's most hateded.
Perfo, perfoheiser. Everybody knows the joke, most of us gotten sick of it. Whenever a journal or comment about him gets posted, he is ready for a reply. Along with being one of xfire's most hardcore spammer this guy has the ability to annoy his opponent with his surprising aim and annoying tactics.
R3vers, along with being the player in ET with the worst haircut, revers is a bad loser. At times when a handicapped Idle got beaten by both cdap-pi and zeropoint, the estonian showed how much of a bad loser he really was.
