serious question

like 4 months ago there was some journal about a guy who was born in 2030 and had to go back to 1972 by using a time machine because they (scientists in 2050) are in need of an ibm chip.

This guy wrote then a book about what is going to happen from 2000-2050 and in his book he mentions the 3rd world war which begins in 2015

My question now, how is this guy called? I cant find anything in the internet, plz help meee
