Got home about an hour ago, I'm pretty sick though :( - bad cough and cold!
More bad stuff: I wasn't too impressed with the schedule (probably a result of the amount of CoD4 teams) and overall organisation, from the door being opened every two seconds to people brushing up against you while walking by when you're trying to play, to the faggot DJ who insisted on playing his shitty music during important games. The playing area should be kept clear and there should be a spectator area set up where the consoles are. Ended up being at the LAN for 4 days and only played on 1 day (Saturday - 7 games in a row), pretty frustrating.
On the plus side: Despite the aforementioned the LAN was good fun, was great meeting everyone you've spoken to online, much like previous LANs. As usual a lot people's personalities seemed a lot more mild and friendly than when they're sitting infront of their computers online. Nobody was spamming IRL, and I even shook Loekino's hand!!!
In closing, greetings to all those I chatted to, too many to list, you know who you are, hope to see you all there at the next one!
Now I can get down to the business of my evil banning... According to FaTTonY I've even been deleting and banning while at the LAN, despite barely looking at Crossfire: http://www.crossfire.nu/?x=journal&mode=item&id=51814

(dont ban me for this comment) :(
well written
BTW ITS Back from the lan
idd it was nice meeting you, ( though you thought I was a retard at first :D )
Delays in the ET tournament were caused 100% by ET players, this is a fact that no ET player wishes to face up to, but ET players take two or three times the amount of time to setup as Quakewars and CoD. CoD was not played on ET PC's only Quakewars and Quakewars was constantly ahead of schedule and then behind schedule because of ET. The PC change overs were improved drastically by wzzrd for CDC4 so the hardware errors during change overs were down probably 90% its just that ET players for whatever reason have no ability to setup promptly.
Its a pill that ET players constantly find hard to swallow, but im sure you'll all find someone else to blame.
(if i have time)
It wasnt you

"I know its very easy to blame CoD [...] Its a pill that ET players constantly find hard to swallow"
:P
I think the point I made is reasonably valid... there were teams having to play 5+ games on one day (in a row, so it somewhat negates the setup time argument) and I don't think that ET players are solely responsible for that - considering there games from the previous day were postponed due to ET:QW (as Ada said!). Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying it was that bad, just a little annoying having to play all your games on one day.
Regardless scheduling delays for ET were unfortunately caused by ET players nobody else :(

ET is like the queen/king of NL its untachable!
sol 1 - 0 tosspott
Well I also dont know quite what causes it, I'm from the Bullvox school of gaming, plug in keyboard - plug in mouse check sensitivity in game and adjust accordingly, 5 minutes and you're away!
However, maybe because im from the school of bullvox it affects my skill? :(
btw i lol'd at you asking everyone if they forgot who you are frowning as though daring them to say no =D was nice to see you although it was very brief :P

honestly they should kill the guy (or just turn it off next time).
I agree with you 100% !
what a dumb ass...
never said anythin like that...as everyone can read...aswell his mature comments and reasons in the past
what a retarted kid...dunno why he is admin...
and maybe more important:
sol can say what he wants to...another admin told in public that this case is under investigation...and at some point the question will come up: "How could it be that admin A mentioned admin B in a reason for a ban" (since the rules say the admin has to give a reasonable argument why he did so)
