gamehack bans

First of all, I really don't care whether people who got kicked recently for the misterious gamehack are cheating or not, but since I was asked a few times already whether there's a chance to prove it's a bug, here's a link to a journal I made only a few months ago.

Please note that I am not defending absolutely anyone, but just informing you once again that with right knowledge it *IS* possible to submit false violations about innocent players to the punkbuster's master server.

In this case it's not a violation submitted to the master server, they were kicked for gamehack during an ettv match; is this also possible?
If yes, this would still require the "real cheater" to have shell access to the server itself, am I right?

His point is that if "mr. random" gets innocently kicked, noone except himself and his closests mates would believe it was a bug or something else.

However when "mr. famous" gets innocently kicked, a big investigation is made and many people believe he is innocent.
