Welcome to the ClanBase Enemy Territory NationsCup XIV.
The NationsCup intends on bringing all of the best players across the world together to represent their nations at one Cup.
With an amazing EuroCup and OpenCup season behind us we are happy to announce the new season, which will undoubtedly be the most thrilling and action packed NationsCup to date.
Captain Application
As team captain you'll be in charge of leading your team to victory and acting as a link between your team and the ClanBase crew. The team captain is expected to be mature, responsible, capable of organizing his team, and have a decent skill level.
Step 1: Candidate Captains Apply
If you think you meet all the criteria you can apply using the link 'Apply as Captain' on the right hand side of your screen (CB Page).
You will have to explain why you think you are the best person for the job. Once you have applied, you cannot apply again.
Your nationality is the one you chose in your personal settings.
All players will be able to view the applications. The deadline for Captain applications is December 31st.
Step 2: Players Vote
Once the voting stage has started nobody else will be allowed to apply. When you vote for your captain you will be asked why you voted him/her. Once you have voted you cannot vote again or change your vote in this cup. Candidate Captains cannot vote for themselves. Read more here
All votes will be kept anonymous. This stage will run from December 31st to January 7th.
Step 3: Voting Phase Ended
During this stage the Cup Supervisor will announce the captains in a news post. This is usually done a couple of days after Step 2 has ended.

Every season we ask for dedicated admins to help out the supervisors with uploading screenshots and making matchreports. This season is no different so here we go, we are looking for people who can:
- Speak and have decent written English.
- Write interesting matchreports, interviews and/or predictions.
- Make well thought out and impartial decisions.
Admins are an integral part of a cup's success, so if you feel like you're up for the task, don't hesitate to sign up. Of course, you can also simply sign up to upload the screenshots of your own match, so you can make the cup page a bit more interesting for all to see.

Format
NationsCup XIV will be in the 5on5 format as the ClanBase ET Crew feels it will damage the national teams participating in the tournament if the rest of the game is played in a different format. Furthermore, we are in advanced contact with a certain sponsor for the Enemy Territory NationsCup XIV, so changing the format would hinder such negotiations and reduce our chances of being able to award prizes.
The NationsCup never was, and never will be a testing ground. It is up to the community to strive for the format change by creating such testing grounds.

most probable lineup will be:
dongo, hammerkrook, Witface, riCo (hopefully), biggz backups: pedro, shaggy (openly doesn't rate himself anymore).

Your answer here makes me think you absolutely want to play NC so you apply for captain and then you can pick everyone you want, that's to say in this case, you.
France got last nc a captain which wasn't playin but only specing, he was gathering all the players to pracc and this stuffs.
Maybe someone should be in your place, and this would grow the skill of the team (even imo if it's you or someone else, turkey won't go far in this nc)
people like kaze, metc (not sure),tanq and banaan are maybe better aimers than me, but i can proudly say that im the better ingameleader and this is what a good team needs. A good captain knows what his team needs. I wont just put some random players to my team who are the best aimers. i will put players to the lineup who like each other, because its important for the teamspirit. i put players in the lineup who can behave because its important for the reputation. i put players in the lineup who fit to each other with their gamestyles.
If there are turkish players who are better in this than me, then i am fine with beeing backup or spec, but at the moment i dont see a reason to do so ;)
I guess most people here in crossfire just see me as a "spammer", but 99% havnt seen me ingame.
