Its 20 euro one way, and 40 euro return. I dont think you save any money buying a return ticket, but its best to get one anyway, because its easier to get tickets at amsterdam. Tickets are open, so you can take any train on that day.

99.9% of people at Adroits ET Masters had such an amazing weekend that it would be a shame to wait until January or so. I think the time between the 2 events is suitable enough for people to regenerate some money for their LAN fund :D

On most PCs I never had problems doing so, did it for half of my team, Night and a couple of other guys. However there were some computers pretty resistant against the switch, even abort the tech magician didn't manage to get it to work. If I'm attending this LAN, I'll most likely upgrade to a ZowieAM or similar. Cba to fiddle around with all the software hacking anymore :-|

read some reviews on razer abyssus on esreality. it has dpi and hz switches, hardly any prediction, ultra light. You might hate the shape if you are coming from wmo but its only 30 euro :p

Why not put a cap, say they need to get a certain number of teams to say they're interested before you announce it, this might even boost et sign ups.

They tried this at CC6 with many more specs and players. Only 4 teams signed up. Doubt youll get any tbh and wouldnt be worth the time of the admins to set up at least 12 PCs and give up 2 hours per match.

Should still be done though, maybe an early morning or late evening/break time. Schedule the LAN a bit different.

I'm sure it could boost more interest for newschoolers at LAN or spark up some old fun times from the oldies.
If I was able to attend I'd much rather watch some fun RTCW games than other ET matches <3
Maybe make a poll to consider doing it, see if there would be interest and gain some feedback from the members and possible teams to play!

If they are willing to pay for a 2 hour slot or something I think seanza might be able to do something. But in that 2 hours they would have to take into account installing the game config and hardware. If you have one admin set up 12 PCs it can take as little as an hour or as much as 24 depending on hardware issues and other issues. I have set up too many PCs at LAN so I know the problems you would face. tbh, for the sake of 100euros it takes up way too much time and effort for it really to be worth while.

I dont think it is a good idea to add other games besides ET.

YES, maybe it will be more interesting and fun, but in the end the admins have to deal with a tight time schedule and probably a lot of delay, which will maybe fuck up the whole lan. Last Adroits lan it was already hard to follow the time schedule with only 13 teams and 30 computers (4 teams could play at the same time). How do you want to do it with lets say 24 teams in ET and lets say 8 teams in Quakelive + 16 more 1on1 Players?

People will have to wait very long before their matches, if there arnt enough computers. I dont think it would be a problem to do the 1on1 Quakelivecup, but the 4on4 cup will be very hard. Adding RTCW to this LAN is even more ridiculous...

I'd prefer to keep it as small as possible, to make it as good as possible for the attending teams. We don't need more games, what we need is some more fun, between the matches. Maybe something like Hide N Seek games, a Knifecup or a Speedcup. THIS would be entertaining and fun. Give Spectators also the chance to play one of this cups, not only the players of the teams.

I didn't follow the ET scene for quite a long time, can anyone explain me the Adroits thingy? Usually it's a company, which earns money by organising Lans? ET wouldn't be that much profitable, but as Seanza is working for them and a cool guy (if we ignore this incident), he could convince them to host ET lan parties. So the organisation (team) has nothing to do with the old Crossfire Lans, just the same venue is used, right?
