Clash of the Titans

We continue our coverage of Live2Win as we look towards what promises to be an excellent Lower Bracket Round 4 match. Everytime these teams meet we get entertained with overtime on LAN, now we get to see them online in a battle between what some would class as the top 2 teams in Europe.

22:00 GMT Sunday 30th March - Lower Bracket Round 4 - Fnatic vs TheLastResort - Crash

image: mp_crashSweden Fnatic return from a 4th place finish at i33 which could be seen as a dissapointing result. This is only a credit to their previous successes at CDC4 and the Crossfire Q Cup . 16-13 was the result at i33 on Crash however with Sweden Mintr taking a short break after an exhausting few weeks, Sweden Klanne will be the man to take his place. No sniper? That's the question, will they just rage with SMG's or will somene else step into Sweden Mintr's shoes?

United Kingdom TheLastResort played magnificently at i33 and perhaps were a little unlucky not to win. However another 2nd place at a major event is a fantastic result for the young team that have picked up €5000 in March. After defeating Sweden Fnatic 16-13 on Crash at i33 they went on to steal victory on District against Canada Evil Geniuses 13-11 and then rampage their way to a 2nd map in the Stage Finals against United Kingdom Dignitas on Crash in overtime 16-14 . Sadly for them though after building a huge 10-2 lead on District United Kingdom Dignitas managed to drag it all the way back to overtime and claim victory leaving United Kingdom TLR once again the bridesmaids.

After such epic games between these 2 teams it would only be right to bring you more Live Video Coverage with Deman & TosspoT on Sunday 22:00 GMT on QuadV TV1.

2 More Live2Win Games Tonight

With Live2Win moving into the closing stages we once again step up to the plate and bring you 2 more thrilling Call of Duty 4 matches to destroy my voice!

19:00 GMT - WB Semi-Final - Ministry of Defense vs Revolution - Vacant

Sweden Ministry of Defense have had a good run in this tournament although have admitedly had a fairly free run as well avoiding a lot of top seeds along the way. However now it gets near to the semi finals they will have to stand and fight.

Hungary Revolution have dominated their way into the Semi-Finals so far with big scores all the way. Can they continue that dominance over MoD is the question that needs answering?

20:30 GMT - WB Semi-Final - Bangin it eurostyle vs Roskilde Ravens - Vacant

Europe Banging it eurostyle previously known as Redemption pulled off the shock of the Cup in the last round defeating Sweden Fnatic 17-12 on Strike. Not only that but they also defeated United Kingdom TheLastResort 13-7 on Backlot. Results like this have not gone unnoticed and a lot of people will be looking towards this match to see if they can do it again.

Denmark Roskilde Ravens have just returned from a semi successful lan at i33 with a 7-8th place finish. I say semi successful as they had a great time in the group stages beating Belgium Tek-9 and drawing 12-12 with Canada Evil Geniuses but come knockout time they had a tough match against Belgium TeK-9 and then met United Kingdom Exabyte who raged them. However they played very well and will no doubt pick themselves up for this tough match online.

Since then they have fought their way through into this lower bracket round 3 beating United Kingdom Team Coolermaster UK on the way who this weekend held the i33 champions Europe Dignitas to a 12-12 draw although admitedly Norway PlaZma was stuck in Norway at the time.

United Kingdom Audacity were knocked to the lower bracket in round 2 by Denmark Roskilde Ravens 13-8 and then had a tight game on Vacant against Finland Teamxeq 13-11.

This Thursday we return to Call of Duty 4 once again for the Live2Win Playoffs Round 2 with the newly crowned Crossfire Devotii Challenge 4 Champions Sweden fnatic vs United Kingdom Four Kings.

Thursday 9pm CET - Sweden fnatic vs United Kingdom Four Kings - Backlot

image: mp_backlotWith Sweden fnatics previous victory in the Crossfire Q Cup followed by a 3rd round exit in the CallofDuty.se Q Cup they have fought hard to prove themselves to be the number 1 team to beat in Europe.

They did this by securing a victory last weekend at CDC4 in Enschede. Taking the Grand Final over United Kingdom The Last Resort 16-13 on Backlot. You can see the Finals match as well as many other matches from the event at the Video on Demand section of QuadV.

United Kingdom Four Kings have a relatively new line-up and will have a lot to prove in this match. They came through the group stages with ease topping the group but this will be the biggest match they have ever faced in Call of Duty 4 to date.

You will be able to watch this match Live on Video with Deman & Kee_RinG at www.quadv.com TV1

Live2Win & ShokLeague on QuadV Sunday

Sunday 10th February 19:30 CET - DCC vs Hexagon

[img|left]http://www.deman.co.uk/images/cod4/strike.JPG[/img]First up on Sunday evening is the Live2Win League 2nd Group Stage between DCC and Hexagon e-Sports.

image: _b DCC Gaming recently finished 12th-16th in the CODQCUP bowing out to oXmoze 12-16. During this tournament they topped their group and had an epic 22-20 win over benelux rivals Team ONTiC.

image: se Hexagon e-Sports went out in the Losers Bracket Round 2 in the recent CODQCUP to GAMED 13-8 on Crash after finishing 2nd in their group stage.

Live video coverage will begin at 19:30 CET on QuadV TV1 with Deman and Kee_Ring.

Sunday 10th February 21:00 CET - ShokLeague - oXmoze vs FurY

Following the Live2Win game we look towards the image: fr French ShokLeague Division 1 as oXmoze face FurY on Backlot.

image: mp_backlotimage: fr oXmoze have recently reached the Loser Bracket Finals in the CODQCUP but lost out to TeK-9 in a fantastic 3 Match come back. However previous match results on Backlot include map wins over Serious Gaming (13-10) and TeK-9 (13-8).

image: fr Team FurY did not have such a good run in the CODQCUP losing their 3 group matches xcite(13-10), 4Kings(13-10), OMG_ninjas(13-9). They do however have a history throughoutthe Call of Duty series being 3 times French National Champions.

Live video coverage will begin at 21:00 CET on Quadv TV1 with Deman and Kee_Ring.

TeK-9 vs The6Devils on QuadV

It's that time gentleman where the men separate themselves from the boys and step into the CODQCUP finals. That's right, it's TeK-9 vs The6Devils Winners Bracket Finals for www.callofduty.se CODQCUP.

image: mp_backlotThis time things are slightly different as both teams play the bash round to decide who will play on which teams map first. In a Best of 3 format this match could go the distance as we prepare for a night of carnage. Should we reach that deciding map it will be on Strike.

TeK-9 have come through the knockout stages relatively unscathed unlike the group stages where they found themselves finishing 2nd after a defeat to MYTEAM 13-7 on Backlot. In the knockout stages however they've performed well knocking TLR, Speed-Link, Serious Gaming and xcite down into the losers brackets across a mix of maps.

[img|left]http://www.deman.co.uk/images/cod4/strike.JPG[/img]The6Devils as many will be aware have took many prize scalps along the way. Recovering from defeat in the group stages to Fnatic they were soon to seek revenge finishing 2nd in the stages. A plethora of multigaming clans have been swept aside in their charge for the finals: Esuba, not identified, Fnatic, Dignitas all put to the sword by the industrious Germans.

The big question remains, what will the map choices be? Both teams found themselves on the losing end of Backlot so that could well feature, or will it be the ever popular Crash and Crossfire.

Tune in at 20:45 CET Wednesday for full Video Coverage from www.quadv.com with Deman and Kee_Ring.

Live2Win - One2 vs Roskilde Ravens

We return once again to the Live2Win Call of Duty 4 League for One2 vs Roskilde. Both teams have fairly new rosters much like everyone else in CoD4 currently but both teams have potential to succeed in the Live2Win League.

22:00 CET - One2 6-13 Roskilde Ravens - Vacant

image: vacantOne2 come into the match with a walkover and a win of 13-1 but have missed a full roster to practise with due to other commitments.

Roskilde are taking a rather casual approach to the Live2Win competition opting to focus more on upcomming lans. However I have no doubt the moment the match goes live the natural competitive nature of gamers will take over.

Quote by One2 NumseWith a full lineup since 1 week ago we haven´t been able to practice the way we should have, and our teamplay could have been better. But lately we have played fairly good on vacant and I believe we can give any team a good fight on the map, if we have a good day. I don´t know anything about Roskilde, and the info I´ve been given about the team has varied alot. So it´s a blind date. :)

About cod4 I think it´s much fun to play, better than any other game I´ve played competativaly.. tho I don´t fancy the mode. S&D (cs and cod) has always had too much luck involved, and that together with exploding cars that can whipe out a whole team and extreme deviation makes it to random.

CoDQCup Double Header Tonight on QuadV

There has been a fantastic tournament unravelling over at the CallofDuty.se CoDQCup Tournament and tonight will bring you potentially 2 of the greatest matches to date and they will all be live on QuadV.

20:00 CET Winners Bracket 4 - Dignitas 11-13 The6Devils - Crash

image: mp_crashDignitas Call of Duty legend needs no introduction, however their history books need a few more chapters with their last major win back in September 06. They have had a tricky path through so far being taken to overtime by eyeshow on Vacant and then having a close match against MYTEAM on Backlot.

The6Devils have had an eventful time reaching this stage facing the best CoD4 has to offer and shrugging them off as they go. Starting with overtime against eSuba on crossfire they then put up two dominant performances against not identified and Fnatic on Vacant and Backlot.

Will the experienced Dignitas team hold against what appears to be an unstoppable force in the form of The6Devils? Join Deman & Kee_Ring on www.quadv.com TV1 to find out.

21:30 CET Losers Bracket 4 - MYTEAM < oXmoze - Crossfire

[img|left]http://www.deman.co.uk/images/cod4/mp_crossfire.jpg[/img]MYTEAM have not had an easy time of it being taken to overtime in the first two rounds by ONTIC and emprise. They came up against a determined Dignitas team though on Backlot and narrowly lost by 13-11.

oXmoze cruised through their first round against FAP but soon found trouble in the form of Serious Gaming on Vacant, being dumped into the losers bracket 13-5. Not to be disheartened they’ve put in two strong performances against MOD, then coming through overtime against DCC on Strike.

This game looks to be one that just might head into overtime and covering this game will be Deman & Kee_Ring on www.quadv.com TV1.
