Live2Win and ESL Summer Cup Tonight on QuadV

Live2Win Playoff LB R3 - 19:00 CET 17th July - Druidz vs oXmoze - Crossfire

Sweden Druidz are the team everyone knows and they've had to battle hard to reach this match. They lost their first playoff game to United Kingdom TCM 13-11 only to meet them in the next round of the LB and extract revenge in a triple overtime thriller 22-18. Now they face a french team they know well from the ClanBase Open Cup and will once again be put to the test.

France oXmoze failed to perform on LAN recently but have had a few good results online. They lost to Norway Oslo Lions 13-5 early on but claimed victory over Hungary drop2trash to reach tonights game. They should certainly prove a challenge for Druidz tonight.

ESL July Summer Cup Qualifier 2 Semi-Final - 20:00 CET 17th July - eSuba vs Speed-Link - Veto

Czech Republic eSuba are building up towards AEF and performing well but this will be their real online test. The fact that they are in 2 semi-finals tonight (Live2Win) speaks volumes for this Czech Republic team. They reached the Semi's knocking out non other than Germany SK Gaming in overtime (16-13).

Germany Speed-Link are the online champions right now winning both ESL June Summer Cup and EMS II in the same night! However they are being heavily questioned by the Call of Duty community as to the legality of their play. CoD veteran Germany Trigger has also replaced the flamboyant AK74u expert Germany GENE recently which may change their style a little.

Live2Win Playoff WB Semi-Final - 21:30CET 17th July - Speed-Link vs TEK9 - City Street

Belgium TEK9 have awakened from their slumber and Davy is riding them hard in the build up to AEF. A team that's been inactive for some time is suddenly practising nightly leading to victory of United Kingdom Reason 13-6 in the quarter finals.

Germany Speed-Link have knocked out the finalists of Acer Challenge & iPower 08 events in the form of Netherlands KomaCrew 19-17 and France H2K Gaming 13-6 to reach these semi's. Their online dominance has made many sit up and watch and their will be no team more scrutinised at AEF than Speed-Link.

As always you can watch it all live on QuadV TV1 with Deman and Kee_RinG.

Live2Win and Multiplay Elite on QuadV

Tonight its the return of Live2Win Playoffs followed by Multiplay Elite Consilation Finals.

Live2Win LB R3 - 21:30CET 16th July - KomaCrew vs Ocrana - Crossfire

Netherlands KomaCrew will be favourites tonight on what appears to be their best map. They recently played in the finals of the ESL June Summer Cup against Germany Speed-Link in a very close match which they eventually lost on Backlot despite winning the first map on Crossfire.

Germany Ocrana are up against it tonight but have started to clock up a few good results lately. Granted I still don't think they can win but with a victory over Netherlands Sample This (13-10) already who knows?

Multiplay Elite Consilation Final - 22:00CET 16th July - Sample This vs Veritas

Netherlands Sample This should have won the WB Final. They were leading 6-4 let it slip to 6-6, then lead 8-6 and let it slip again losing 13-9. Assuming Netherlands Kajsk1ng is still on holiday Netherlands ownR will no doubt be the stand in replacement once again. With Backlot being the map tonight that may actually work to their advantage as a rusher is sometimes better than a sniper.

United Kingdom Veritas managed to blitz k1ck.pt 13-1 in the last round and will be hoping for a free entry to I34. I will admit I don't know the team that well and will be looking to see them try and match Sample This tonight.

You can watch it all live on QuadV TV1 with Deman & Kee_RinG.

Multiplay Elite WB Final

Tonight QuadV host the battle of the Benelux in the Multiplay Elite Winner Bracket Finals with the winner taking 5 seats in the Elite Zone along with free entry into Multiplay's I34 and the M-Fesitval.

Multiplay Elite WB Final - 22:00 CET 14th July - LowLandLions vs Sample This - Crash

Netherlands Sample This now have a steady line-up for the first time since the Acer Challenge. However with defeats to France H2K Gaming and Germany Ocrana lately in the Live2Win tournament they are certainly up against it tonight.

Belgium LowLandLions recently claimed 3rd place in the ESL Masters Season II with 300€ after falling to eventual 2nd place Sweden Fnatic. They are strong favourites tonight over their Benelux Benelux compatriots tonight but as proved in the EMS going 6-1 up and losing they struggle to hold a lead.

You can watch the Live Video Coverage with Deman on QuadV TV1.

3 Teams 2 Finals and 1 Sun Burnt Caster

That's right ladies and gentleman tonight we have not 1 but 2 Cup Finals for your viewing pleasure in Call of Duty 4. First up is the much sought after ESL Masters Series Season II Cup Final which carries with it a prize of 1500€. Following on directly after that we have the ESL June Summer Cup Final for 1000€.

EMS II Finals - 20:00 CET 9th July - Speed-Link vs Fnatic

Germany Speed-Link reached the finals through the winner bracket without too many problems. They started in the playoffs with a close win against Belgium TEK9 (13-11) but after that they brushed aside United Kingdom Dignitas (13-7) and Belgium LowLandLions (13-6). However with a disapointing result at iPower 08 this weekend some have questioned their true capabilites on LAN. Personally I put it down to stage fright and expect to see more from them in the summer events. Online though you can't knock their results as they have taken on and beaten just about everyone of note in CoD4 to-date.

Sweden Fnatic have had to battle their way through the lower brackets since their loss to Belgium LowLandLions in double overtime 19-16. They have played well ever since though picking up wins against United Kingdom Dignitas (16-14), Belgium TEK9 (13-9) and finally Belgium LowLandLions in a revenge match which once again saw overtime 16-13 on Backlot. On LAN Fnatic would be strong favourites and will almost certainly be challenging this summer at AEF/TEX/I34 for 1st place. Online though they are only 50/50 at best against a strong on form Germany Speed-Link.

750€ - Germany Speed-Link
450€ - Sweden Fnatic
300€ - Belgium LowLandLions

ESL Summer Cup June Final - 21:00 CET 9th July - Speed-Link vs KomaCrew

Germany Speed-Link have blitzed through the Summer Cup without anyone being able to even put a dent in their armour. They brushed aside tonights opponents earlier on in the tournament without breaking a sweat on Backlot (13-8) and then took on a depleated Czech Republic eSuba who lacked both Czech Republic BLX and Czech Republic lucker due to holidays. They will be favourites tonight and will no doubt be on fine form with the EMS Finals played just before this game.

Netherlands KomaCrew met their match in Germany Speed-Link earlier on in the tournament however they were also using stand-in sniper Netherlands kajsk1ng for that game and he had never played on Backlot with KomaCrew. With a fairly successful LAN at iPower 08 representing Holland they managed 2nd place and picked up 5x 22" Monitors. With Netherlands kajsk1ng playing at the event for them they will no doubt be more of a challenge tonight than they were last week.

500€ - Germany Speed-Link
300€ - Netherlands KomaCrew
200€ - Czech Republic eSuba

You can watch both matches live on QuadV TV2 with Deman.

Live2Win Playoffs and I34 Elite Tonight on QuadV

Tonight we have Call of Duty 4 action firstly from the Live2Win Playoff Stages followed by the start of the I34 Elite Tournament which gives the teams a chance to win free admission and the use of some fantastic pc's for the I34 event.

Live2Win WB R2 - 21:00 CET 7th July - Sample This vs H2K Gaming - Strike

Netherlands Sample This performed well at the Acer Challenge finishing 3rd behind their opponents tonight. However with some team adjustments since then they may now have what it takes to topple the French.

France H2K Gaming return triumphant from iPower 08 taking home 5 top end gaming pc's in a finals rematch of the Acer Challenge vs Netherlands KomaCrew winning 13-7. They topped their group at Acer Challenge ahead of Netherlands Sample This but the match between the 2 teams was very close.

Multiplay I34 Elite - 22:00 CET 7th July - LowLandLions vs K1ck - Backlot

Belgium LowLandLions had some players in action this weekend for Team Belgium at the iPower 08 event held at the ESWC Masters. As a mix team they performed well picking up 4th place however with the players only returning home today they may well be fatigued. We saw them last Thursday lose in a closely fought overtime match in the EMS II Consilation Finals against Sweden Fnatic 16-13.

Portugal k1ck.pt have never reached the top tiers of a major event before but in entering this tournament they have given themselves that chance. They face a tough opening draw though and will be classed as the underdogs, however with Backlot the map a strong Defense could well be enough to secure a win.

Live Video Coverage will begin at 20:45 CET on QuadV TV1 with Deman.

EMS II and FGL Finals Tonight on QuadV

First up tonight will be the ESL Summer Cup following on from last night. Straight after will be the Consilation Finals of what has been a great EMS Season II for Call of Duty 4 and directly after that we dive across to the FGL Finals in which the winner will take home $750 with $450 to the loser.

ESL Summer Cup LB R1 - 20:45 CET 3rd July - Reason Gaming vs KomaCrew - Map by Veto

United Kingdom Reason Gaming played a close match last night but it could have been far worse. At 12-6 it was looking like a deomnstration of how to play Crash by Czech Republic eSuba, this over a team that totally shut out Sweden Fnatic in 9 straight rounds just last week! There was no love lost between either team though and tonight Reason shall be looking for some payback.

Netherlands KomaCrew looked a shadow of themselves last night with KajsKing stepping in to fill the boots of Roman. However having not played together before on Backlot it wasnt until the last few rounds where things started to work out but by then it was too late. So tonight they will undoubtedly be avoiding Backlot in the veto and hoping for something else!

EMS II Consilation Final - 21:30 CET 3rd July - Fnatic vs LowLandLions - Map by Veto

Sweden Fnatic have had a hard time of it lately mainly down to inactivity but when money is on the line they tend to perform. They lost to United Kingdom Reason Gaming last week in the Live2Win Playoffs but here in the EMS they are on the comeback trail beating Czech Republic DEFEATERS, United Kingdom Dignitas and Belgium TEK9. It was however tonights oposition that put them into the Lower Bracket in a thrilling 19-16 double overtime match.

Belgium LowLandLions had performed well in the EMS II and they are just 1 win away from making it into their first major finals in Call of Duty 4. Alongside their win over Sweden Fnatic they also beat tonights FGL Finalists Germany choZen however Germany Speed-Link proved to strong on the night for them. With a win already recorded against their opponents they can come into the match with some confidence knowing that the almighty Sweden Fnatic are indeed not unbeatable.

FGL Finals - 22:00 CET 3rd July - eSuba vs choZen - Map by Veto

Czech Republic eSuba beat United Kingdom MYM Tuesday night (13-6) in Live2Win and where amazing last night in a fast paced action thriller against United Kingdom Reason Gaming, a game I highly recommend you watch on VoD. Tonight they enter the finals from the winners bracket meaning they only need to win just one map and with their map pick first it could well be a short final.

Germany choZen pulled off the shock of June defeating United Kingdom Reason Gaming against all odds. They are massive underdogs tonight though in their first major finals against probably the best currenty online team.

You can of course watch all the action live on QuadV TV1 with Deman.

ESL Summer Cup on Tonight QuadV

Tonight the ESL Summer Cup for € 1000 will begin and QuadV will be there to bring you all the action. We will cover the 2 winner bracket rounds tonight with 2 potential great matches.

ESL Summer Cup WB R1 - 20:00 CET 2nd July - Reason Gaming vs eSuba -Map by Veto

United Kingdom Reason Gaming are the team to beat right now beating almost every top team throughout the month of June. However with a rather strange defeat recently to Germany choZen they have shown they are still not unbeatable.

Czech Republic eSuba ran rampant over United Kingdom MYM last night (13-6) with star player Czech Republic Mazarini almost hitting 30 frags in those 19 rounds! So tonight we shall see 2 form teams meeting for the first time in a while.

ESL Summer Cup WB R2 - 21:00 CET 2nd July - Speed-Link/rY vs KomaCrew/bioXar - Map by Veto

The most likely match here going by form would be the 2 iPower 08 qualifiers Germany Speed-Link and Netherlands KomaCrew. Both are playing very well right now and they met last night for an incredible match that ended in double overtime 19-17 with Germany Speed-Link coming out on top.

Join Deman tonight on QuadV TV1 for all the Live Video Coverage.

Busy Night of Call of Duty 4

Tonight we cover 3 seperate competitions for you on QuadV TV1 starting with the EMS Season II Playoffs then hoping over to Live2Win Playoffs and finishing with the ESL Summer Cup Final Q3.

EMS II LB Round 3 - 20:00 CET 26th June - Fnatic vs TEK9 - Map choice on Elimination

Sweden Fnatic lost last night to United Kingdom Reason Gaming in a thrilling match on Crash that saw many clutch plays from Sweden LINQAN. He was by far Fnatics best player on the night and they will need him to perform again tonight if they are to beat TeK-9. They knocked out United Kingdom Dignitas last round though and with money at stake I expect them to raise their game.

Belgium TEK9 have started to become more active since Belgium Stevy joined and are getting slowly back to their former self with a superb result over Germany choZen in the last round. However defeat to United Kingdom Reason Gaming in the FGL Consilation Finals proves they still have some way to go as we get closer to the Antwerp ESports Festival.

Live2Win Playoffs Round 1 - 21:00 CET 26th June - Oslo Lions vs oXmoze - Crash

Norway Oslo Lions are a team I have somehow never covered yet with QuadV. They have always been in and around the playoff stages of every competition but never quite made it to the finals stages. They have a tough draw in oXmoze so this should prove to be a good match.

France oXmoze recently won the cod4invite.fr Cup against France Redline but lost in the finals of the iPower French Qualifiers to France H2K Gaming. We saw them knocking out the current Live2Win Holders Hungary Revolution monday night in a tight match but will have to raise their game against Lions.

ESL Summer Cup Final Q3 - 21:30 CET 26th June - Reason Gaming vs KomaCrew - Map TBD

United Kingdom Reason Gaming are playing well right now with victories over all the big names in the FGL, Live2win, EMS III Qualifers and victory at theSGL SummerSlam at the Omega Sektor. Their form is hot and it will have to be as they come up against a team that is also on a winning streak.

Netherlands KomaCrew managed victory at the Acer Challenge taking home 1500 euros. They won the CODQCUP and are looking to pickup another win tonight. However alongside Germany Speed-Link, United Kingdom Reason are the team to beat right now taking the scalps of every major MGC in europe. While winning the Acer Challenge and playing well in the finals they didn't exactly play well during the event but then the same could be said for Germany in Euro 2008.

VOD Link: ESL Summer Cup Final Qualifier 3 - United Kingdom Reason Gaming vs Netherlands KomaCrew

I am expecting to see some great games tonight and you can watch it all live on QuadV TV1 starting at 19:45 CET.

Live2Win - Fnatic vs Reason

It's time for the play-off stages at last in the Live2Win League and as you can see there are some fantastic matches coming up over the next few weeks.

Live2Win Playoffs - 20:00 CET 25th June - Fnatic vs Reason - Crash

Sweden Fnatic are still playing well despite being hugely inactive over the last couple of weeks. We saw them sunday night in a fantastic match against United Kingdom Dignitas in the EMS II LB Round 2 and I expect them to raise their game further tonight.

United Kingdom Reason Gaming are playing well right now having won theSGL SummerSlam event at the Omeka Sektor and last night beating Belgium TeK-9 in the FGL LB Finals (13-07). Being an active team you would expect them to win tonight but i guess you can never rule Sweden Fnatic out!

Live2Win - Revolution vs oXmoze

After some fantastic matches last night in the EMS Season II we turn our attention to the Live2Win League as it approaches the play off stage.

image: backlotdLive2Win Group Stage - 21:15 CET 23rd June - Revolution vs oXmoze - Backlot

Hungary Revolution are the holders of the Live2Win League, beating Sweden Fnatic in the finals. They need a win tonight to qualify however with a defeat against Greece SP-Gaming on Crossfire (13-10) and a win over United Kingdom Grievous Bodily Harm on Vacant (13-1). If they could pick up a good rounds margin tonight they may just be able to qualify ahead of Greece SP-Gaming.

France oXmoze recently won the cod4invite.fr cup and having switched a few team members are looking like their former self. With victories over Greece SP-Gaming (13-7) and United Kingdom Grievous Bodily Harm (13-0) they are leading the group with 6 points and a good round difference however a slip up tonight could still see them not qualify.

Join me tonight on QuadV TV2 for all the action.
