A change in format? A change in activity. A change in number 1!

With the recent rise from the community regarding the format of Enemy Territory and its future, Clanbase was quick to revive the once prestigious "EuropeEnemy Territory 6on6 Stopwatch Ladder". With that announcement came a host of teams (more than 30) registering/signing themselves up to compete in the ladder within 10 days of the ladder revival.

The ladder once hosted some of Enemy Territory's most exciting teams including the likes of EstoniaIdle, FinlandSkit Evil, EuropeStronger than Hate etc. Back then it was considered a major achievement to be contending for that shiny golden ladder pictured next to your clan name.

With the recent revival comes a loss, with records of the old ladder including some of those names/teams mentioned above being erased from the glorious past. It seems that with the switch from 6v6 to 5v5 the ladder was deleted and so be it the teams, the reports, the scores! But its now time for the future and just recently Clanbase crowned its new 6on6 Ladder Champions. A team that is well renowned having members who have won prestigious tournaments such as Eurocup, a team that illustrates the newschool touch of the game and the ladder. That team is none other than FinlandKRP!

celsus picks up a cod4 team

Im sure most of you on this site know celsus through their enemy territory team who have qualified for the ec playoffs and EMS. Well today celsus are glad to introduce their new cod4 team :

- Netherlands Antwan "antwan" Kradolfer (Team Captain)
- Netherlands Maik "vexzur" Gloudemans
- NetherlandsJim "ownrr" de Ronde
- NetherlandsBjorn "Liquidpauper" Pacher
- NetherlandsThom "verZz" van Herwijnen

Team captainNetherlands Antwan "antwan" Kradolfer :

A few days ago I talked with celsus about joining and future goals. They were giving me signals that they were in terested in a CoD4 team. After a few days, celsus told us we could could get a deal going. Our goal is to see how MW2 is, and if it's not that good we will stick with MW. We hope to represent celsus in the best possible way

Pc director for celsus United Kingdom Ross "R0SS" Gracie had the following to say:

After only a few discussions with vmbo we knew as an organisation these guys were perfect to bring into celsus. With their vast achievements in cod4 both online and offline it was a team we had to snap up quickly. They slot in with the current Enemy Territory team and TF2 perfectly with a vast experience in the top level of gaming. We are very proud to unveil these guys as a team in celsus and we sure that they will go on to achieve some great things and represent celsus honourably. Hopefully now as an organisation we can build on the current top teams we have in these games and go on to support other teams and games.

This is a team with a core lineup that has achievements such as 1st and 2nd twice at offline events like fatlan. These guys will be competing in cc7 (if cod4 is definate) along with the current et team. They will also be competing in any upcoming online and offline events.

Celsus with Fresh Faces

image: 3733664_bigAfter a decent eurocup where celsus finished joint 5th with h2k and a respectable finish of 4th in summercup celsus were left with a huge hole to fill when United Kingdom w3st decided he wanted to play for zZz and Netherlands Ati wanted to play with dnan (now 141). We were left with a lineup that wasnt so Poland Polish. After a few days we managed to pick up Germany haZer who wasnt actively playing for any team, the player who himself isnt short of any achievements with a Nationscup XI and a Eurocup XVII. However, there was stil a huge hole to fill with the departure of United Kingdom w3st. Our luck changed when we saw the recent forum post of Finland Reikkeri who has a vast amount of experience from finishing last eurocup and finishing at cc6. With Polandwiesiu going inactive we had to fill the last spot with someone who was as good or even better. After impact went inactive/folded due to United KingdomMalta toxic moving to the uk for a year of studying it gave me the chance of getting United Kingdom syK to join who himself has won many achievements with teams like 141 and impact.

So the new Celsus looks like this:

United KingdomR0SS
United KingdomsyK
FrancekARn4J
GermanyhaZer
FinlandReikkeri
Polandxanah

Polandwiesiu
United KingdomTEKNO

We will be competing in the upcoming eurocup and the ESL EMS. You can contact us at #celsus
