oxid and Logitech have rung the changes ahead of the summer schedule. Both sides were present at the CPC and whilst oxid finished in the lower tiered places (9th-12th), Logitech placed 2nd after a thrilling final.
Logitech have replaced wiNkz with former Check6 & Copenhagen player Sacrim - Both Sacrim and Plaekki who have played together for a considerable amount of time, decided to leave copenhagen esports. Sacrim sourced the reason behind leaving copenhagen as being his desire to speak in his native language once again.
Team oxid who had a disapointing CPC have again run the changes with Flow and zEm deciding to part ways from the organisation. Zem, like Sacrim above has had a torrid time finding success since the collapse of the Eurocup winning Check6 side and was the last of that side to leave what was once the organisation. Oxid have been quick to get back in the game announcing their new lineup, built mainly from the former fukyuu team.
As ClanBase told me they won't be hosting a NationsCup this Spring, ET-Cup is here to help you out! As crew member of the ET-Cup, I'm proud to announce that we will host the next ET NationsCup. Together with Skydeh, we are going to try and bring you one hell on a NationsCup. We have gathered up alot of the captains already, some of them remain with their duty's, others are new but all motivated to try and bring their nation to the top of the cup.
So here I am, proud to announce the next project of the ET-Cup Crew. We would love to keep ET alive, so we will not let it happen that there won't be a NationsCup during the Spring times.
» [bCup Information[/b]] Players: 6on6 Teams: 24 Qualifiers: 8 max Groups: 4 Team a group: 6 Teams progressing to the playoffs: 2
We will have 5 matchweeks during the groups phase, that means that every country will play 5 matches. A matchweek takes 1 entire week from Monday to Monday. After the group phase is over, the top 2 will progress to the playoffs. The team finishing first will play against the team ending second of another group. There will be a double elimination playoff, that means with Winners and Losers brackets, to make it extra exciting.
Before the cup officially starts, there will be a qualifier week. We have counted 32 interested country's last season, where ClanBase picked up 30 of them and played 6 qualifier matches. With 32 teams this season, 16 teams will deserve and get a direct invitation. That means we still have 8 spots left, and it also means we still have 16 teams left. So, those 16 teams are going to play each other to get a spot into the upcoming NationsCup. 8 of them will pass trough to the groups.
Because it's quite hard to make groups based on seedings as Nations have different players each year, we will look to the previous season and base the seedings that way. First ended teams will be in Poule A, second ended teams in Poule B, etc. Each group will consist of a team from every poule. The first 4 poules, so the first 4 ended teams of previous season, will have a direct spot into this NationsCup. The 5th and 6th ended teams of previous season will play a qualifier against the 8 teams who didn't play last season.

As you can see, it's quiet a tight schedule. Teams have to play 1 match a week, mainly because we don't want to end up somewhere in the end of the summer. So to let you enjoy your summer, the matches all have to be played in time and will for each nation be forced to the Wednesday of the week. In that case, please try to keep your clan matches off that day. Get all your players ready on Wednesday and play your matches. It is of course also possible to reschedule your match to another day of the week, and we will be willing to help you with it - We only don't want the matches to be played in another week, so that might cost you a forfeit of you don't make things clear for your players.

All matches have been forced on the Thursday of the matchweek at 21:00 CET. If your team is not able to play the match on that day at that time, you have to contact your opponent to reschedule your match - after you've done that, give the new date and time to an admin so the site will be updated.
You have the time to add players to your roster until tonight at 24:00 CET, players who aren't listed on your roster will not be allowed to play.
The matches of the first matchweek are forced on Thursday 3 May at 21:00 CET. The maps of week 1 are bremen_b1 and frostbite.
Teams we'd like to see playing on ETTV will be asked soon, so in case you can't play on Thursday, tell the new date and time to an admin as fast as possible.

After finishing fourth at Crossfire Prizefight Challenge II Vicious and Evil decided to make a break and form a new team without CPC II replacements BuLL and decem. Three more or less new players have been added to the team to compete in Eurocup Season XV.
First challenge for the new formed team will be Eurocup opponent k1ck eSports on Sunday the 29th.
After a rather succesful excistance of over three years the Dutch multigaming clan suXus eSports announced its disbanding today after the headsponsor stopped sponsorship. The teams of suXus eSports and the management staff decided to stay together, and will play under the name TempMGC for now.
The Crossfire Prizefight Challenge 2 is over and the EuroCup has just begun, but both events show a significant lack of German teams. At that point, the Electronic Sports League has come to the rescue with a Winter Premiership that offers qualifier spots for the upcoming second edition of the International Premiership and features mainly lineups from Germany.
The group phase has finished and what we're going to see tonight is the start of the playoffs. Out of 21 teams that competed in the beginning, eight have made it to the double elimination bracket that is going to conclude this premiership.

The maps are undoubtedly in for some surprise. frostbite has shown unexpected results many times while bremen is still quite new and therefore a factor that might lead to the success of the seemingly weaker team.
The match will not only be shown on ETTV but will be aired on GIGA 2 in German as well. For those of you who do not have an account yet, we offer 5 free keys that will be raffled among all those who have written a comment under this news post until 22 CET - good luck to all participants!
Tonght marked the ending of the Warleagues Season VII, with two old teams who both played with a new lineup this match could have been more exciting. Still, we would like to congratulate Vicious and Evil with their 4 - 0 victory against suXus eSports. Vicious and Evil will take gold in the Warleagues Season VII.

Warleagues RTCW Season XV has now openned its doors. We had a lot of sign ups and all groups look very strong and its pretty hard to find a favorite in each group. Premier Group is one of the strongest I've seen in many seasons and resulted in Alpha Group having teams you might expect to see in Premier which isnt a bad thing. A total of 25 clans are participating this season. At one point we had 35 Signups. Some clans asked to be removed and other clans got declined due to the fact they didnt have 6 players with 6 guids registered in time.

I was lucky enough to catch up with Demanufacturer, leader of Australian eSports organisation Modus Operandi and attendee of QuakeCon 2005 with the team. In a lengthy interview many topics were broached; his playing career, the expansion of mo* and his thoughts on the future of eSports in Australia and in general. Here is a snippet:
You can find the full interview here and if you are interested in catching up on what's happening in eSports down under, have a browse of the Modus Operandi site.
