Tonight see's Dignitas back in action again, facing the formiddible foe of 3rd place Eurocup'ing TeK-9. Yes its 2nd vs 3rd at the Eurocup finals and this is going to be special.
TeK-9 is about as old a name as it comes in CoD history, the belgians have long fought valiantly against all comers and have recently called on some reinforcements to give the side a more "check6" feel. Offering them the firepower of one of the few teams to have ever beaten Dignitas certainly makes them a threat to the Brits.
Said Mick, Leader of Dignitas and CoD1 MVP.
Make sure you dont miss a click tonight as these two heavyweights do battle in the ring!

While different teams already finished the first stage more or less successful, tonight we will have the last matches to prepare ourself for the final stage next week. Today, one team has to come over the loss and will say bye bye to the IPS, but who will get on the way home tonight?
uQ.Gaming 4-0. Team Helix (21.00 CET)
With uQ.Gaming, formerly known as Team Maybe and Pingwins, a new and ambitious team is facing the best German team at the moment: Team Helix.
While both teams already beat retroactive and Stofftiere Online e.V. with clear and stunning victorys both teams are already qualified for the Final Stage of the IPS and are facing each other to check out who is the better team now.
aMenti 2-2 cZar (22.00 CET)
After the match of uQ and Helix, aMenti without a loss yet will try to overpower cZar to continue playing in the IPS. I caught aMenti's DaviD for a short statement on the upcoming match and the recent wars:

The World Cyber Games have launched a poll to decide the games for next years competition. Gamers can vote for their 1st and 2nd choice games in five genres whilst also selecting their preferred platform it be played on; PC, PS2, PS3, Xbox, Xbox360 or the Wii.
Prevalent in the First Person Shooter category is Call Of Duty 3, going up against titles such as Quake 4 and CS. This is a huge opportunity for the CoD scene and reflects positively on the campaigning and petitioning done by the CoD community to be recognized by the large LAN events.
The WCG 2007 Grand Finals are scheduled to be hosted in Seattle next October.
The World Cyber Games see the national winners of each respective game represent their own country in the Grand Final, this year hosted in Monza, Italy. Players from over 70 countries will compete across 7 games.
Another great CoD2 event is just around the corner and this time the location is Ahaga, Sweden. Although WonderBase does feature the usual suspects, Quake 4, Warcraft and CS, they have also allocated a hefty prize sum to Call of Duty 2. With over €2,000 for first place you can expect to see some of Europe's biggest names making their way to Sweden this November and it looks certain to be an exciting weekend. Popular Swedish community site CallofDuty.se have teamed up with the organisers to run the event and after a disappointing Dreamhack tournament, Johnny "toker" Törnvall will be hoping for more luck this time around. WonderBase have backed up their words with action though and although the news that the event will have it's own chef is an added bonus, most attendees will be more pleased to hear the news that CoD2 will be the only game where tournament PCs are provided, eliminating the need for players to cart their computers all the way to Sweden.
The event will be held in Ahaga, with space for over 1,200 gamers and all useful amenities nearby. CallofDuty.se have also announced that their partners Activision will be present at the event and as well as giving you the chance to try out the unreleased Call of Duty 3 game they are also in negotiations with companies such as Microsoft and Nvidia to increase the prize pot for CoD2 even more. This would be great news and with the likes of Dignitas and Speedlink already showing an interest would only serve to boost the event's publicity even more. Exact dates and times for the CoD2 tournament are likely to be announced in the coming days but it appears likely that it will run from the 2nd to the 4th of November, finishing one day before the event ends. Be sure to check back here for all the latest updates concerning dates, times and of course what you all want to know about... prize money!

uQ.Gaming in association with Savageleagues have decided to run there seasons cups. We have put forward £300 (440Euros) as a prize fund for a cup within ET. Already some other sponsors have put forward interest in supporting an online event, and so we can expect more than just the cash by the time the cup starts.
Since we only got the support confirmed a few days ago, its still early in the planning stages, but so far i can confirm the following:
The prize pot is a minimum of £300 (440Euro)
The cup will support 6v6
The size of the cup will depend on the amount of sign ups we get.
It will start within the next month.
#uQ.Gaming are looking for people who can offer support or admin experience for the cup, so if you can then please pm uQ-Venom in irc.
I can also confirm that if this cup is a success, uQ will forward at least the same prize fund for repeat events, with the idea of making a seasonal cup.
Are you sick of the default ET fonts? Are you tired of having to add everything manually in Vegas/Premiere? Or are you just too lazy to figure how to add .pk3 files to change the font?
All these problems go away with this released beta version of UltraViolet Movie Maker developed by our most recent addition to the team - Hannes 'hannes' Anders.
