The reason behind this was the decision by the Nextevolution ET team to join WinFakt and as a direct result he´s lost the will to support Enemy Territory.

The Finals of the QuakeCon® 2011 were played the 6th August 2011 at the Hilton Anatole Hotel in Dallas. The matches were extremely exciting and tough. We saw some very close duel fights in the duel playoff's. This year's QuakeCon was the biggest QuakeCon ever according to John Carmack's statistics. After the news of former FNATIC.MSI Sebastian 'Spart1e' Siira joing the ranks of Team winfakt yesterday, We are happy to announce another addition to the WinFakt family. With the SAGE lan over and the results know, the old team of winfakt felt rather dissapointed after the event. After some talks with the management and the team, WinFakt decided that it was better to part ways.

With sign ups due to close in just over a weeks time, it is time for the ET community to stand up and be counted as the call for more LAN events in the past 6 months has been met with a poor showing in the first ET ONLY LAN event since ... not even twidi can remember. Currently there have only seven sign ups of a possible twelve, although there are a handful of teams still deliberating on wither to come or not - Time is running out.
