Has 2008 been a good year?

most time of the year was rly good. met lot of nice peepz, got more money, got new appartment, got a cat... not mentioning all..

It was kinda good for me, met some nice people etc. Anyways, i spent too much time in front of my computer :$ I have to change it.

It’s been a scary one… sudden realisation as to how green I was ‘bout the workings of the real world, lessons learned that I wish I’d known before! Overall a good year, hopped house a bit (4 flats in 1 year!), now found a great place we’re real happy with 'n landed a job that pays a living wage. Met some new people, others moved on, loved ‘n lost (the whore) ‘n now live the life of the guy from “How not to live your life”.

Few highlights… awesome Strummerville weekend, finding a pub that didn’t id me (!!!) ‘n hours wasted in the Leopard. Looking forward to 2009, here’s hoping it’s more stable that 08!

Both highs and lows. Moved on my own, started new school and got a nice job. But broke up with my girlfriend (that's both good and bad) and so on. But all in all, a good year. :)

Hmm let's see.

- Didn't get a job (so no money)
- Got beaten up twice
- Best friend hang himself
- Other friends moved out of the town
- Relatives getting serious diseases

- my 18th birthday got ruined by a girl
- my grandma had a heartattack and the docs are telling us that she wont do it all long anymore
- my girlfriend tricked me that bitch
- had a carcrash
- didnt get the access to my final exams
- 2many beatups
- crappy new football teacher

mhh mixed feelings but all in all it was a quite good year for me!

Good to see most people are optimistic.

In the end it was a good year, even though people tried to disturb it with not so nice stuff!

-my grandmother is starting to have alzheimer

-we had to sacrifice my dog

The first 3/4 of the year was kinda shitty for me, had to do a lot for school (mostly because I did everything the morning I had to hand it in). Friend group falling apart and some problems with my parents.

In general I can say it wasn't one of my best years, but still some good things happened. I got my diploma. Found a job as GSM technician [repairing nokia's n95 (normal/8GB)], not the best job but still something and not far from home. And playing at CC5 was awesome and it was nice to see some of the people you normaly only hear online.

tbh the year has been weird in the sense I can't remember half of what happened in the first 6 months :X
I seem to be treating university years as normal years, so I only really think of september onwards when I hear the question "How was 2008" :X

Trying to think back it's been pretty sweet, I really enjoyedthe second half of my first year at uni and finished it on a high. Had a lazy summer but seem to be getting on with my brother more and more.

Start of second year of uni has been a little slow but outside of the actual work it has been fun.

Started a new job at uni for extra money which is quite fun.

I reckon 2009 will be pretty similar tbh, months seem to roll by far too quick, so either nothing exciting is happening to remember or too much is :X

I wouldn't say it's been a bad year, let's leave it at that.

oh and I've grown my hair to the longest it's ever been in my life which is a big step away from growing it mid length and then going to a grade 5 every so often :P

- Got myself a fantastic girlfriend
- Went to tons of party's
- Made new friends
- Going to university
- Had a great summer vacation
- I managed to get some important licenses
- Have never been so happy in my life before :)

Second half was better than the first for me. Done a few things that will hopefully put me in good stead for a good 2009 - although if i was asked this next year, i would probably say the same so who knows.

I left Enemy Territory for good, so I had a good year :D
