The discussion about cheaters on xfire has never been on the level it is now. Let me start with some common quotes found here on xfire to give us some first impression about this issue.

Servers don't edit cfg files. Players do.

If the accusations are correct then its a crying shame that clans are packing in rather than playing the game, it would mean the cheaters had won :(
