If this is your very first lan event you'll undoubtly be wondering what to bring? And how does a gaming tournament actually work in person. Well fear not heres the lowdown on how to prepare for the event itself!

What Should You Bring?

You can use the externall equipment (Mouse, Mousemat, Keyboard, Headphones) provided at TGS, however its got to be said that it is common at gaming events to bring your own hardware from home. Including your mouse, mousemat and keyboard - plus any drivers you need for them. You should bring your drivers and game configs on a USB stick for easy access. Players can email their config to [email protected] to be saved on the admin USB stick as a backup.

What Shouldnt You Bring?

You shouldnt bring your own PC, nor your mointor. Additionally you should not bring food inside the venue, there will be plenty available for sale at the venue.

What to do inbetween Matches?

This is entirely up to you and your team. You wont have access to any tournament PC's when you are not playing, so you may wish to bring a laptop or you might want to explore Rotterdam with your team.
