It seems apparent that as Summer comes, a Lan finishes, that the activity in ET and on Crossfire slightly drops. This happens every summer and doesn't have any relevance to this column, except that i noticed the previous column submitted was about AEM and felt that i should write something that became noticeable in something that i recently watched and got me thinking.

I sit here bored on a Friday night, after browsing the usual gaming sites reading columns and articles a plan (a very bored and spontaneous one) to write about ET and it's current state hits me. Im tempted to just let it pass by, hell we have seen another ET is dead, ET and it's future columns before right? Right. However, as I am writing this it is the first time that i have concluded that ET is really in a dire state and needs a lift.

Here is where i blow my own trumpet. Before applying to be a crossfire admin, i was a general/casual user that rarely posted much whether it be a comment or a news item. I can honestly say though that i have never had a comment deleted, never been warned and never been banned in all the 5 or so years that i have been a member. Why? Because i have followed the rules in most circumstances.

I thought it would be a good idea/read to do a monthly column on "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" side of ET, its players and the community. This is all my own personal opinion and don't mean any harm or offense to those mentioned in it, although you probably deserve it!

With the recent announcement of AEF going live with prize pots, signup dates/deadline, fees etc all announced it is surely a great period for Wolfenstein - Enemy Territory. Or at least you would like to think so.
