The World of Wolfenstein is about to under go some phenomenal changes that it has never experienced in its long existence. Another 2,500 euros has been sent ET's way and it will equate to the games third international lan of prestige this year. More importantly, it will become the third lan event in 4 months and that represents a growing change in the need to be able to finance teams desires.

The world of Call of Duty is ever more in the limelight, ever more in the faces of gamers and yet at this weekends World Cyber Games I talked with many of the games top managers and not one of them would entertain the idea of picking up a CoD team.

As loathe as I am to remove one of the many 5o5 vs 6o6 columns from the front page of the site I believe people may find this useful in the wake of leagues adopting the 2.60b patch.

In this column I would like to raise a few questions concerning the 5on5 versus 6on6 debate as I think there are some, to me, very important points that haven’t been brought into light yet.
First of all, as I’ve previously asked in a comment, how can people be so certain they “know” what the community wants? On the Internet it’s very easy to be anonym. There’s no real control over anything and there are very ways to find out what people actually want.

The year 2003 was the year that ET saw the light and the noobs started playing on the random etmain servers planting the 30 mines on one spot to stop one engineer from building something.
But with RTCW slowly dying and ET becoming more competitive people started to realise that the settings on etmain were not the way to play. First the teams needed to be fixed and looking at the game RTCW made pretty clear that 6on6 was the way to go.

It's been one of them nights, at 18:26 GMT Adacore told us all that Clanbase and Warleagues are both switching to 5on5.
2 minutes later there was over 100 comments of people expressing their feelings about this news. Another minute had passed until #we-want-6o6 was created and managed to get easily over 200 idlers.
Mice, huh? Debunking DPI.

For centuries man has been plauged, hindered by the inadequacies of his own tools. Mice have been reluctant to match the cabalities of the fort which forms a gamers body, a vertiable pastige of godly sensibilties and attributes - We have, in every way, surpased our own creations. Enough of the foonr style, over emphasised, badly written drivel.
